The digestive system consists of the GI tract (or digestive tract), the liver, the pancreas, and the gallbladder. The gastrointestinal system, or GI tract, is a tube that stretches from the mouth to the anus and is lined with several different hollow organs. The digestive system consists of the oral cavity, the esophagus, the stomach, the small intestine, the large intestine, and the anus, all of which are tube-like organs.
