It is self serving to attribute the deepening off Nigeria s democracy to only one man. What of the Electoral Act and the people that passed it into law. What of INEC that refused to waive the use of BVAS despite the virulent pressure

We envisaged the impact of the third force as epitomized by PO and NNPP. However, both parties did not do a thorough homework. The bridges they built across the Niger were largely made of sand. So it could not lift them to victory
