Governors as Instruments of Oppression in Nigeria: Why Youths Should Vote Massively on March 11.
By Peter F. Joseph Esq.,

In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed a disturbing trend of governors using their positions of power to oppress the citizens they were elected to serve. From using the police to intimidate and harass citizens to withholding funds meant for development projects, the actions of some governors have left Nigerians feeling helpless and disillusioned.

This trend is particularly alarming as Nigeria prepares for the forthcoming gubernatorial elections. The youth, who make up a significant percentage of the voting population, must realize the crucial role they play in determining the future of the country. With the power to elect or reject leaders, they can bring about the much-needed change in the political landscape of the country.

It is time for Nigerian youths to take action and vote massively against oppression. They must not allow themselves to be manipulated by politicians who seek to perpetuate their hold on power. Instead, they must be informed, proactive, and make their voices heard by participating in the electoral process.

The forthcoming gubernatorial elections present a unique opportunity for Nigerian youths to demonstrate their determination to bring about change. They must be resolute in their conviction to elect leaders who have a track record of delivering on their promises and who are committed to the development of their communities.

It is also important for Nigerian youths to hold their elected leaders accountable for their actions. They must demand transparency and accountability in governance, and ensure that their leaders are working in their best interests.

In conclusion, Nigerian youths must take the forthcoming gubernatorial elections seriously and come out en masse to vote against oppression. They must realize that their votes are powerful tools that can be used to bring about change and that they have a crucial role to play in shaping the future of their country. With their determination and commitment, they can ensure that Nigeria becomes a better place for all.
