Mami Wata is not Igbo but Edo. You should have put gills on her face not pimples. Ekwensu is not the devil but a trickster which is Esu in Yoruba. Most cultures have that mythical god so I think there is a truth to it. Africans don’t have a concept of evil of such magnitude that the whites have with the Devil. Trickster god balances good and evil and ensure there is a price to pay for every deed. 1 Like |
