FisifunKododada: You tell that to your fellow Yorubas. Last I checked, Mr Gbadebo is a Yoruba man, whether you like it or not. 1 Like 1 Share |

ycat:Your half and half rhetoric is as useless as a limp dick. This "Igbo people want to take over our land" is a worn out sentiment. Divide and rule will not succeed anymore.

Oga Keep your mouth where it belongs,it does not matter the state we came from,as far as we are south westerners we have the right to defend Lagos because it's part of our territory,if you are not happy about that I think Lagoon is there,go and do the needful. PrinceOfLagos: |

ycat: I am not insane, you are ignorant of the history of this land now called Nigeria. Benin Empire is very old, quite old that the Benin Kingdom vastly was one of the largest in Africa. The Yorubas migrated from Togo and headed towards the shoreline and settled at Ile Ife. Benin kingdom was so popular that Benin Republic was named after the Benin Kingdom by the migrating merchants of those days. Journeying via the Atlantic Shoreline, the great Benin Warriors defeated some fishermen who settle along the ocean banks to fish, the fishermen used to travel from Ile Ife and settle by the Ocean. The great Benin Warriors defeated the Yoruba Ile Ife Fishermen and are rightfully the owners of the land, until the Portguese came along and took over the territories. I have been to the village that Mr. Lekki, a Portuguese Explorer built and lived along the coast line between Lekan and Folu communities at the area that Dangote builds his refinery. I have also some plan to explore the areas, that another Portuguese, Mr. Badagry built and lived. Mr. Badagry and Mr. L:ekki are not the only persons who started developing the land they named Lagos which Benin named Eko, in fact there are others. What is so spectacular about Mr. Lekki was that when he died, he asked to be buried in a standing position. So he was buried standing, only a few decades ago, did their offspring come all the way from Portugal and take his head home. Yoruba and Benin are related. They are cousins, hence the similarity in the cultures. The Benin people know this truth, hence their decision not fight for ownership of Lagos. Therefore, Lagos is no man's land. This is the uncomfortable truth which upsets only the ignorant. 1 Like |

Dshocker:don't provoke unnecessary crisis or rancour. Let every one exercise their right and conscience. You can table ur robust argument and ideas calmly and peacefully for people to be persuaded and convinced and then buy in. Not by coercing or abusing them. U cant win all-round followership by so doing. Bearing in mind that people naturally have their own orientation either superior or inferior and in most cases majority carries the vote. |

Gerrard59: It doesn't matter if his father is the Oni of Ife himself. If you support IPOB, you will NEVER govern a Yoruba state. |
