The issue isn't the issuance of the old notes but the acceptance of them by the public. This isn't yet happening. Until, Buhari gives the go-ahead, the general public will remain reluctant to collect. 1 Like |

The news says that banks have resumed payments of the old notes and not a single person on Nairaland has verified it. Or, those on Nairaland don't need cash? 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Fortunately, Q the buying of INEC has been seen in the election results and the operations of INEC and APC. APC and Buhari experimenting with the lives of Nigerians in their SICK GAMES. Tell me why the back and forths? Is Buhari or APC confused? Today you are banning old notes. Tomorrow your using 500N and above, Then 200N and above. Oh?Then ok. . . extend the date. Go back. . ..we can use both OLD AND NEW. Rubbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbish! |

KanwuliaExtra: You are not making sense at,APC made it clear they were not in support of the naira redesign from the onset and they still maintain the same position which led to the supreme court verdict. The only people going forth are back are the obedient who were insensitive to Nigeria sufferings becos they felt it will favour Peter Obi, fortunately things didnt go there way they want to propagate vote buying anywhere belle face zombiedent 4 Likes |

The funny thing about this whole thing is that the new notes will soon disappear from circulation. Nobody will have both old and new and spend the new ones first. |

One thing Nigerian leaders have is pride, unlimited pride If you come out with a plan and does the opposite of what’s its meant to do and reverse it. Apart from the Supreme Court judgement, the redesign was poorly implemented, few new notes were printed. It’s been chaos Just like e naira too, it was going to be the next bitcoin, just cos bitcoin was gaining popularity Nigeria went to copy something they didn’t know about Where is the e naira app now that millions of naira was spent on its design Lord help this country 6 Likes 3 Shares |

reddingtonblack: I don't really care about the dirty Naira notes. As you can see, INEC HAS FAILED WOEFULLY. Tell "OLE-MANDATE" to proceed to IRIGBAJI sharp-sharp. APC AND THE NAIRA DESIGNING FRAUD WILL BE ADDRESSED LATER. . . . Preparing for MARCH 11. Please, don't forget TO UPLOAD IN REAL TIME. Thanks! GRV has come! |

GOFRONT: Do you have any mandate? You better stop deceiving yourself and free yourself from the lies from your saviour Obi. I saw your Obi results which claim Obi defeated Tinubu in Ogun State. Where are the obidients in Ogun State? The results also claim that Obi defeated Kwakwaso in Katsina. I'm not in Katsina state but I know it cannot be true. These 2 states results made me to conclude that Obi was indeed a liar and very deceitful person. I just hope he would not put these boys on the street to die. 2 Likes |
