Let's take out time to remember what His Excellency has done, is doing and will do for Edo State going forward. 1. Quality Land Administration System. No more land grabbing. 2. Healthy tax system. No more double taxation. 3. Improved Security. Edo State Joint Security Network. 4. Good office accommodation. Secretariat Complex. 5. Increased salaries. Remember there was once a governor who reduced our salaries. 6. Edo-HIS. Minimal payment for health care. 7. Robust and healthy relationship between the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary. Requisite for development. 8. Noiseless Construct of roads. 9. Value addition to culture. 10. Ossiomo electricity. Almost entering the next phase for connection to homes and houses. 11. Respect for citizen right. State prosecution of human right violators. 12 Modular refinery. Coming on stream very soon with potential for creating over a thousand direct jobs and many more thousands indirect jobs. 13. Opening of the Air space with more aircraft landing and taking off. 14. increased investment 15. and so on. Edo State is gradually becoming the state of our dreams let's keep the fire burning by lining up behind His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki and his Exco to vote in persons that would add value to the progress of Edo State. We may not like the PDP or any other political party, we may have already decided not to come out to vote for the State elections because we've been bruised over and over and over again, we may have been discouraged by the outcome of the presidential election but we have another opportunity to save our state. If we can't save the nation at least we can save our state. We have a veritable platform to do so by supporting our amiable Governor who happens to be in the PDP at this time and has to succeed for us to have the Edo of our dreams which is gradually becoming a reality. I have on many occasions listened and sang to the words and tunes of the "Edo Anthem" and it's beautiful. It's a declaration of hope and believe in the possibilities and potentials that lie within the Edo Nation and Spirit. The deliberate consciousness for demanding the growth and development of our dear state. I believe we have a good and experienced pilot in the person of His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki. Let's vote to give him a good support crew within the Legislative arm (Edo State House of Assembly) to take care of us while the flight continues. We did it once, we can do it again. A vote for Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki's Team in the PDP is a vote for complete freedom. Stand with Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki. Let the Edo voices be heard from the planes of the Binis and Ishan to the hills of the Afemai, Owans and Akoko Edos. Let's Stand Together. Vote to keep Edo State alive. |

Anger and bitterness will cause us more harm than good, if we allow APC set in at these critical time. Alot of Edo people don't even know what and what the Governor have done so far, but are quick to judge him base on what people are saying. It's good Edo people get informed about the things Governor Obaseki has idone thus far before allowing themselves to be cajole by the opposition party, thereby robbing Edo just like they did in presidency. Vote for credible candidates. Vote PDP in all the house of assembly seat. Vote PDP all the way.... |

Am much as I love this piece, I can sense sentiments in your following paragraph, that has restrained me from share your post that is laced with sheer sentimentsand disgruntled feelings Even the Governor is still appealing, saying that he was carried away, but does Obaseki deserve the people's sympathy? Someone who failed to inaugurate representatives for 14 constituencies to the House of Assembly for more than three years, this implies that these constituencies have not had representation in governance for the past three years. for the purpose of clarity, those 14 prodigal and disobedient elected law makers were playing the puppet for their puppeteer, Adams Oshiomhole, aka ADAMU. Obaseki who knew their plan of their master, quickly outsmarted them, by doing his own inauguration at night, just to secure his side. the 14 uninaugurated legislators started running from pillar to post just to ensure they get included, but it never happened. They know what they were getting themselves into from the start. You can't be robbing shoulders with an ex governor, when you know the incumbent is powerful and may be influencer than your principal. Those self-centred 14 did not put their constituent first when they were listening to Oshiomhole and allowing that devil incarnate to control them like garage boys. Ikirodah, why are you such a terrible liar? why did you not also state in your writeup that, Ize-Iyamu aka Pastor, the man the contested with Obaseki in his second term bid for gubernatoria election and failed also inaugurated the deviant 14 house of assembly elected members in his living room, with stolen or borrow Mace form Auchi Polytechnic SUG? please stop being a pathetic lair and the useful journalist that you are supposed to be. Obaseki will get served breakfast on Saturday, no doubt. But it expedient that you say the truth, don't try to attract pity from people with your lies. Obaseki has failed Edos that supported him. |

APC: YOU CAN'T EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT Edo People! Let Us Reason Together! Let's talk about the so-called "men" who won the election into the Edo State House of Assembly in 2019 under the APC. These spineless and gutless politicians were nothing but puppets controlled by their godfather, who ordered them not to be inaugurated. But that wasn't enough for them. Oh no, they went even further and formed an illegal, parallel House of Assembly right in the living room of an APC leader, while fighting the Governor of the State. These cowards have absolutely no respect for the law, for their constituents, or for anyone but their godfather. And now, unbelievably, some of them are running again on the orders of their godfather. Can you imagine the nerve of these people? They think they can just ignore the law, form their own government, and then come crawling back when it's convenient for them. Well, Edo people, we will not be fooled by their lies and their cowardice. Don't vote for these puppets of the APC overlord. Instead, vote for the PDP candidates in the House of Assembly election on the 11th of March. These are the candidates who actually care about you and your future. They are the candidates who will fight for your rights, your freedoms, and your dignity. They are the candidates who will respect the law and the will of the people. Let us not allow these wicked politicians win again. Don't let them drag Edo down into the mire of corruption and lawlessness. Stand up for what's right, stand up for Edo, and vote PDP on March 11th. This is exactly how politics should be and work. A situation where by your faith is defined and decided by the people. If you do well we'll vote for you again but if you mess up the privilege eh, of you misuse it or abuse it then you will loose it, we vote you put simple |

udemzyudex: Udemezue, if you don't know something, you shut up your dirty stinking mouth. You even are bereft of commonsense. Does the Governor need to do something wrong before he is impeached? Just by way of educating you since you're a political blockhead, an impeachable offence doesn't need to be wrong. Any act deemed by the Legislature to be an impeachable offence is an impeachable offence. Anyway, Obaseki has wronged the legislature and he will be impeached. If you don't like it, go and die. |
