The IT experts didn't say anything tangible. Yes, the BVAS machine shiuld have been made in a way that they can have two accounts on it. I wonder how that's hard for them to do. Have two accounts. Keep the one used for the presidential election intact and locked away. Then have another account for the state elections.

Mr. INEC postpone the governorship elections if you have to postpone it! It will not be the first time elections have been postponed. L/PDP must be allowed to inspect and extract data from BVAS before INEC can do any further thing with them. I hear APC has applied too.

Since the BVAS didn't work in presidential ,like inec claimed,they should keep it safe for the court case.. They should run governorship manually, after all they will still rig it..

A smart person should know that all INEC needs to do is to upload everything it has to their back end server without losing any information and do whatever they want.

Do you want INEC to use incident forms to conduct the gubernatorial election? Don't you know that it will lead to massive rigging to the extent that no incumbent would lose?

The should just decline the request so that the Saturday election will be postponed to allow INEC enough time they requested to reconfigure the BVAS

iNEC have assured candidates the results are backed up on there Backend servers should anything happen to the ones on BVAS, it is only logical all candidates verify the results are intact on the backup server as promised

Other peoples mandates is as important as OBI ambition, so the world won't stop rolling because of one Peter OBi, for a party less than 8month to win 11 states & abuja yet INEC rigged😂, if Inex no rigg Peter Obi would have won 37 of 36 states🤣🤣 Racoon you don dey old end your beef with sense naw

They must use BVAS for the governorship elections but their cheap strong-arm tactics here will not work. The evidence in that BVAS which is likely to be very staggering will be jeopardized. I don't even care what they have uploaded to their IREV portal (afterall they refused to upload results in real time despite repeated promises to do so and the lettering of the electoral law). LP needs access to the raw data from BVAS.

Reconfigure the BVAS, so that investigators will no longer find out when they were used to transmit vote results.

I said it several times before the election that INEC will make a mess of the election. Now it's happening. Now they are looking for a cheap way to defend the shambolic election they conducted on Feb 25th by tampering with evidences stored on the BVAS.

A retention period should be specified in electoral acts for which ALL election materials are to be kept.
This should normally not be less than 1year.

Why do they need to reconfigure the BVAS? Are they claiming that they spent so much for a machine with a very low memory?
