You hear the ‘h’ factor, you’re still doubting he’s Yoruba, Netizens troll LP’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (Video)

Some netizens are poking fun at the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour after he posted a video where he pronounced INEC as 'Hinec'.

Many Yorubas typically put the sound ‘h’ in front of the initial vowel of every word.

Recall that some of Gbadebo’s opponents have been questioning his true ancestry as a Yoruba man. They cite the fact that his mother and wife are Igbo and he took an Igbo title.

But ‘Obidients’ and LP supporters have been doing their best to showcase the candidate’s ancestry in Lagos. The candidate himself has also done a good job of showcasing his heritage to silence critics.

In the midst of it all, Gbadebo posted a video where he warned INEC to conduct itself well because voters will be storming the polling booths with their phones to capture proceedings.

When Gbadebo pronounced 'INEC' as 'HINEC' in the video, a tweep retweeted the video with the caption: “He said Hinec and you people are still doubting if he’s Yoruba”.

The tweet went viral. Find the video and tweet below.

This Gbadebo boy is a scam, he has already added the H-factor sharply. He’s so desperate to steal what does not belong to him. He should go and start his work from the root, Obi couldn’t steal the presidency , and this one thinks he can try. It can’t happen, it is not his turn.

You are one of the greatest comedians of our time, albeit unintentionally. Your constant buffoonery on this site always leaves me rolling in laughter. What could be funnier than an Igbo man calling himself "Prince of Lagos" and daring to tell actual Yoruba people who is and isn't an "indigine" [sic], as if you knew anything about Yoruba history and culture whatsoever? Una wan kill person with laff! grin
