Dear Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),

I write this open letter to you today with great concern about the upcoming governorship election scheduled to hold on the 18th of March 2023 in Nigeria. As the head of INEC, you have a tremendous responsibility to ensure that the election is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, without any form of bias or favoritism towards any political party or candidate.

However, in recent times, there have been growing concerns among Nigerians regarding your ability to lead INEC in a manner that inspires confidence and trust in the electoral process. Many people have raised questions about your independence and impartiality, especially in light of your past actions and statements that seem to suggest a certain level of bias towards certain political parties or candidates.

Given these concerns, I strongly urge you to step aside and allow another person to handle the governorship election on the 18th of March 2023. This decision is not a personal attack on you or your leadership, but rather a necessary step to preserve the integrity of the electoral process and ensure that the will of the people is respected.

As the head of INEC, your primary responsibility is to ensure that every eligible Nigerian citizen has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, and that their votes count. This is a sacred trust that must be upheld at all times, regardless of personal affiliations or political pressures.

Therefore, I implore you to consider the greater good of the Nigerian people and step aside from your position as the Chairman of INEC. This decision will not only help to restore public confidence in the electoral process, but it will also demonstrate your commitment to the ideals of democracy and good governance.

I thank you for your service to Nigeria and urge you to do the right thing for the sake of our country and its people.

Sincerely,

Engr Victor Eze (MSc & MBA UK)
Director, WGH UK
