See many of you yorubas don’t have a ruling class mentality . You can’t see beyond your nose. You are getting into petty unnecessary beefs. You have to understand that in this life there are pim-ps and there are hoes. If you are not a pi-mp you are the hoe. And you know who the biggest p-imps are in Nigeria ? The biggest pimps are the Yoruba elites. Most especially Tinubu. The biggest pi-mp in the history of Nigeria is Tinubu. Now before Tinubu the whole Lagos was a slum. The commerce was dead. There would be just one supermarket called leventis in the whole of ikeja for example. And so the tax base was low and so no money to do projects or to upgrade infrastructure. All the big yellow transport buses were dangerous and rickety. There was poverty everywhere. So what does a p-imp like Tinubu do ? He went to the southeast to look for hoes. He knows these people are traders and business people and he enticed them to bring all their moneys and businesses to Lagos and enticed them with lekki land but behind the shadows the henchemen like MC Oluomo were hiding in the covers waiting for the hoes to set up shop. As soon as the hoes brought in all their money and businesses and abandoned their region to decay, the p-imp set his henchemen mc oluomo on all of them and started collecting heavy taxes. Just to have any billboard advertising your business on any house in Lagos alone you pay like 50 thousand naira a month. Imagine like 5000 signs in Alaba and ladipo , not to talk of other levies and taxes. Now the broke p-imp now has many hoes making him very rich and he is using the money for blue line, brt buses, Oshodi bus terminal, those blue taxis, some of the money he is using for politicking etc etc . And all these edifices are enjoyed by all of us as you sit inside An air conditioned brt bus as opposed to those yellow molues of the past. All these luxuries courtesy of the p-imp and his many SE hoes lmaooo. And you have to understand that on this issue of buying land, there is no freehold land in Lagos. It’s all leasehold of 99 years. And so no foreigners owns the land. They just borrow it for a while . The land will always belong in the Yoruba family but you can give outsiders the illusion of inclusion by leasing it to them , what many call buying land, for 99 years so that they can live here and bring all their money here to Lagos. Just imagine the billions of dollars pouring into Lagos that could have been taken to the east to develop the east ? Now you get the mindset of the ultimate hustler aka pi-mp aka Tinubu . lmaoooo. See the biggest pimps on the planet know that you need to attract different hoes from all over if you want to be rich which is why the richest states and cities in the world have an open border policy aka London, New York, Berlin, Dublin etc while the poorest are the ones who are closed off to the world like the south east of Nigeria is. And so you have to view this thing with a ruling class mentality and not from a pleibean mentality
