Why Igbos Succeed In Business Globally by Birdbyrde440: 1:43pm On Mar 11, 2023
The answer is simply adaptability.

When igbo people enter our areas i notice that they adapt quickly and begin to feel very much at home.

Other tribes go to igbo domain and continue feeling like strangers.

Although they constitute a nuisance sometimes but they open up qickly to new environment and immediately state shaping things up to their taste.

Not other trybes feeling like strangers, you igbos mark territories and you are not welcoming like other trybes, the most welcoming trybe and most respectful are the yorubas. And you feel bittered when other trybe comes to your land and doing more than you. You will take it as if they want to outshine you. That is Igbo for you

Igbo learn languages fast. That's what I notice. And once you understand the language of a people they will relate with you better.

They also are adventurous and go to places other tribes won't go to set up business. You'll see igbo in all these fulani settlement selling to them.

Yoruba don't really like travelling out if the region to other regions.

Your brain is leaking
Respectful bawo
Useless tribe of the waste
Your tribe is the tribe with highest number of…

Lazy youths
Agberos
Skull miners
Agbo drinkers
Dirtiest tribe in the whole of Africa
If you know how evil and terrible that tribe is, you won’t be disgracing yourself here shouting ‘respect’ anyhow

N:B - I didn’t mention any tribe. If you feel attacked, then you own up the tribe by yourself.

Am not igbo but i observe them very well.
Living with them i have learnt that when you enter a foreign land, best to feel at home, be open to everything as long as it doesnt violate your principles, alway be progressive( if the village you migrated to doesnt have light, start selling cheap gens or solar panels), every igbo trader is a saver. He just started business yesterday but he can boost of N1m.

They are very loud and Always speak their mind no matter who is angered, they hardly compromise on their principles. I lived in the east for 7 yrs and am from zaria. Igbos and hausa/fulani christians go very well together. The hausa fulani christian share the same spirit. The yoruba are weighed down by too much intelligence and as such hardly hold down a business for long albeit being the most idealistic.
Yoruba do well in banking, stock market etc.

Northern muslims are socialistic in nature
Their mindset " as long as am living comfortably, no problem" they support each other alot and are custodians of common sense in nigeria.

Haha.. the igbo trader will drink fura if it will help him sell more goods, many even adopt islam or seek spiritual enlightenment when in the north and after 2yrs you will not be able to differenciate wheather he is igbo or fulani. My only problem is the arrogant ones. Imagine an igbo prostitute living in the north and always showing the whole town that she is a prostitute. Igbo women can be gullible.

My advice to igbos in general is to live a coded lifestyle everywhere they go and to be more matured and stop being too loud and gullible.

Igbos and fulani go down together?? I Laugh. they don't like fulani for everything. They tag them terrorist and fulani herdsmen trying to take over their land. I served in the east. They can evil kill them. They don't like each other. Igbos mark territories. they don't want you to pass your boundary in their land. No matter the chance. But they are ready to pass their boundary in someone else land. If you caution them they will tag you tribalistic.

The most successful business men are igbos.
All hausa business men depend on government favours.
An hausa keke driver got his keke by the donation of one rich politician in their mosque or hometown while the igbo keke driver got his keke by saving for many years.
In a free market, igbos beat all other tribes hands down.
There are other areas where they are grossly deficient e.g in politics and coporation amongst themselves.

One major flaw of igbo is their individualistic nature.

Still better than your own trybe
That can kill his brother over a piece of land
Envy his brother if he is doing better than him
Kill themselves over nothing( UGM)
That is why your trybe can never rule Nigeria as a country never.

Am from kaduna and i can tell you that hausa/fulani christians and igbos understand each other very well especially jos, taraba, kaduna areas. Thats why igbos supported atiku because atiku despite being muslim understands the igbo way.

There are fulani herdsmen in the east since 1960, the current spate of killings is being carried out by state sponsored foreign mercenaries and some opportunistic individuals.
