Tinubu had to toil and labor for 30 years accepted all sorts of humiliation from different people before he was able to build alliance. He spent his money and resources on Buhari, got abandoned, still did the same thing again in 2019 and even before that he helped both Nuhu Ribadu and Atiku. He built strong alliance with the north even at that they almost still dumped him if not for Northern governors. You can't sit down somewhere and demand power be handed to you. You must work hard and sacrifice, not insult and blackmail. Nobody gives a shiit about tears and insults.

Look at the campaign Obi ran, strictly on religious and ethnic lines, how do you expect Muslims and core Arewa to trust that kind of person? Not just that, he also ruined Atiku's life which is something he and his loyalists will never forgive. If Obi were strategic and stepped down for Atiku Apc would've been packing their bags by now and the Atiku's side of the north will be owing Obi and the East a debt which they will repay in the future. Now be rest assured that the East will not even be in the political calculations for the next 24 years. Tinubu is not stubborn like Buhari. He will not make stupid policies that will make people suffer and angry. Apc aren't leaving power anytime soon and the Igbos will never be in contention for Apc ticket.
