Contrary to the rumour circulating in some quarters that the Deputy Senate President and Delta State Governorship Candidate on the platform of All Progressive Congress(APC) is not a Christian, the authority of St. Jude Catholic Church, GRA, Effurun has come up to say that the Governorship candidate is not just a member of the Christian body but a dedicated and baptized member of the church.


In a press statement signed by very Rev. Fr. Mark Ikeke of St Jude Catholic Church said, Senator Ovie Omo- Agege is a practising member of and a communicant in St Jude Catholic Church, GRA, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state. According to the statement, the Authority said, this is election season adding that, political leaders and their supporters should strive to uphold decorum and show sacred lines and love in their campaigns just as they said , they hope and pray that the Lord Jesus Christ should thoroughly guide every man’s actions and inactions.

APC Muslim-Muslim ticket brought religion into our politics.

Christians are the most abused, mocked and undermined Identity group in Nigeria.

This Idiot called Omo-Ogege supports a Muslim/Muslim ticket.

He comes to his own people and wants to stir up division by projecting a Christian identity.

If he was such a benevolent lover of the church. Why did not fight for his faith and denounce the relegation of the Christian faith.

He definitely should be taught a lesson.
The Catholic church is true, should sanction whoever Rev. Fr that tried to validate his membership of the Church.
