Okonkwo predicted that the Labour Party's governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour would win the forthcoming governorship election in Lagos State.

Labour party didn't get lagos politics right. GRV won't appeal to many of this Yoruba voters. Even though they already are against Tinubu, they may not so much trust a GRV who speaks Yoruba like an "Omo Igbo."

Lagosians are the sum total of the people resident in Lagos.
Before now, Tinubu had used Agberos to restrain voter registration to non Yorubas resident in Lagos, as well as use of Agberos to restrain non Yorubas from voting in elections, as his tool to win Lagos elections for his appointees.
But this time, on hearing from the INEC about use of BVAS to transmit vote results directly to INEC portal immediately after the close of poll, people rushed in unprecented numbers to register to vote. They will make the difference next guber election in Lagos state, as they made during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
