The question should be directed to those who supported the policy that brought more hardship on ordinary Nigerians

Is it about those who supported or the implementers and the corrupt politicians?

It shows that CBN needs a good IT department where the overall strength of the interbanking infrastructures handling transfer and interbank payment can load tested.
It is not just about employing accountants and rocking suits.

Yes, it was achieved to some extent. No news on kidnapping, vote buying and robbery.

Banks should released the old notes now
The number of people who died of starvation within the period of the yeye policy is more than the number people kidnapped and killed in one year.

Ken sarowiwa case caused many sanctions

Did you read the report or you just copied and pasted without reading through like a proper intellectual should?
It was Commonwealth that suspended Nigeria from its Chogm meeting and that was in 1993 due to annulment of the elections. Was Abacha head of government in 1993?
The other ones, which are visa bans are not directed at govt but at individuals.
Some Nigerian govt officials are still serving visa bans in a democracy that we are.

Even if true, supporting electronic banking wasn't a bad idea. If infrastructures didn't fail by now people will have forgotten about hard currency scarcity.

Is the redesign wrong? No!

Was the implementation done rightly should be the question.

Like policies of border closure and rice importation. They are all bad policies. But some fools supported border closure and kicked against new naira policy.

But some greater fools kicked against border closure that was supposed to reduce importation, encourage local production, give more value to naira but supported naira confiscation that eventually made life hard for them grin grin grin. Now, they're kicking against it. Confused people

you read what Garba shehu said yesterday that people like you were happy about the policy because you believe it will eliminate corruption and vote buying,
That was what was making buhari happy to continue the anti people policy,
If everyone had come out to protest against it, even NLC did not see any thing wrong with the policy until they kick against it yesterday.

Just look at you, you didn't even know what you supported at all. Most of you did so because you believed it would give your master a victory, even your master thought so.
Was the naira actually redesigned? No!

Nothing was altered, nothing was redesigned! The same old plates were used in printing the new notes but different colours.

Was it wrong? You still said no with what you have seen so far! Some people will never learn

The policy was a two edged sword. it fought corruption and terrorism bt also brought suffering because of sabotage from criminal entities.

We should not ask Buhari and Emefiele who are in the apc and implemented the policy abi? But instead we should ask those who had no hand in the decision making? Keep looking at the wrong people to blame for the foolishness of your party.

But this policy made me to discover that indeed Nigerians are wicked people. The government is bad, equally the people. Very sad!!!!
Re: What Did Buhari, Emefiele New Naira Notes & Cashless Policy Achieve? by Nobody: 9:08am On Mar 14, 2023
To me, it is a good policy. It's just that the people are not ready.
Some of its benefits
1. Regulate consumption
2. Eliminate kidnapping
3. Improve banking literacy
4. Reduce anonymity and as a result improve accountability

Why it causes suffering
1. Most people, especially old folks, don't have bank account
2. Illiteracy is rampant
3. Bank transactions are not seamless
4. Evil minded people exploit it
5. Low acceptability.
6. No proper awareness or education for the masses
7. People don't like this government, and the time and implementation of the policy seems to infringe on people's right and freedom.

Use your head Oga. Emefiele has no liver to disobey Supreme Court or even redesign naira....its all Bubu. Bubu himself said it. Why are you ignoring the elephant in the room?
HappyPagan:
Suffering. Hunger. Depression. Heartbreak. Increased poverty. Wasted goods. Low sales. Plenty fight.

Emefiele should apologise to the nation. It will be useless, but it might show he has some 'human' in him.
