I don't know what US is up to.
That was how Iran celebrated the downing of one US drone, before US responded by killing one of their major generals.

But Russia is made of different quality.
So let's see how it goes.

I sincerely wonder how some people read.

It is clearly written that the jet was damaged in a collision (deliberate tipping of its wing) - it was not shot down.

It doesn't change the general message but things should be reported accurately so as to avoid subtle misunderstandings.

it's shared territory by Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Funny enough, Russia, and Turkey happen to have more rights over it, and it seems Russia sort of wants complete dominance over it especially since Sevastopol is under their command

I doubt USA could do anything. USA could fly over the blackSea but they don't really have 100% right to especially since it's closure, only warships with ports on the Black Sea, which includes Russia and Turkish ships, can enter.

Biden didn’t ask for permission. That’s nonsense. They notified Russia so no mistake could happen. Any Russian strike during that visit to harm Biden could mean immediate war.
