Labour Party or No Labour Party, I will conquer Esanland

Oshiomole tells APC National Caucus

Says dead or alive, it is time to fulfil his dream of beating Chief Anenih in his domain

Comrade Adam Oshiomole, the former governor of Edo State was at his best when he addressed the APC national caucus meeting proceeding the elected NASS meeting at the instance of the president elect, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The former National Chairman of the ruling party boasted that he is long done with his Edo North Senatorial District and that he has moved to conquer Edo Central, which has always been his dream since his time as governor of the state. He told his audience that the late Chief Tony Anenih, the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party was the man he actually wanted to beat hands down and added that whether Chief Anenih was alive or dead, he would still achieve his goal.

Oshiomole, who danced to the admiration of his admirers, explained how he returned the two senators and the House of Representatives in the two districts in the last election, and said that he cared less about what the Edo South people think of him.

When reminded that the Labour Party National Chairman is from Edo Central and that the people have decided to support the Labour Party in the House of Assembly election, Oshiomole waved it away. He maintained that the Labour Party is not a threat because he knows how to deal with the Esan people whose leaders he said prefer their immediate gains to their people's collective interest.

When also reminded that the PDP might surprise APC in the House of Assembly election, he simply laughed it out and told them that with the betrayal of a faction of the PDP by Gov. Godwin Obaseki, nobody is talking of the PDP in Edo State. Oshiomole added that he is monitoring situations in Edo Central very closely and that he would not allow the Labour Party to have their ways in that place he called Esanland, which is his territory to conquer. He boasted that he dictates the political directions of Edo State, even as he would deliver a governor for the party next year.

_"Our only problem is how to coarse the one they call the legacy PDP into supporting us instead of supporting Labour Party, and it is going to be by all means possible. I have put up the mechanism_ _for that. I know how to deal with their leaders. I did_ _successfully with the National Assembly election and I will repeat it again"._

Comrade Adam Oshiomole was making the case for his Senate Presidential ambition which was allegedly zoned to the South East but which he tried to convince his party to give him as a reward for his efforts. He wondered why on earth would the party so reward a zone that could not even produce 25% in any state for the party.

OSHIOMOLE is a grassroot politician and a strategic thinker.
With what happened at the presidential election, you will agree that he and his people are in love.

They people have married the 2 wives and they are choosing who is better.
