The ICC just signed its death warrant as it will now die a natural death. A lot of power countries either never ratified it or has simply withdrawn their signatures to the statues before now, the US, Russia, India, china etc. It has been deemed previously to be too west centric and has been criticized to be biased against Africans. What The Hague invasion act and this un-enforceable judgment has done to its image is that in the next 12 months, nearly all of African, latin and South America will have their legislatures recind their ratifications. The ICC just proved to the few remaining signatories outside Europe that it’s actually very toothless, since it will never be able to enforce its pronouncements against Putin. All these previously subservient countries will have no reason to continue to subscribe to a statute that shows it’s toothless against the US, Russia, China and the rest and can only bully African nations. Expect a wave a repeals within the next 12 months, leaving the ICC for its Western European sponsors alone, albeit its ultimate demise!

All these happens because it decided to do Washington’s bidding, a nation not subscribed to it, it failed to learn that so far everyone that has joined the Washington band wagon has also paid one way or the other, since it’s been two edged all along. Unfortunately for the ICC, it’s own is one edged because while it has no leverage against Putin, it just showed the rest of the world, it’s actually toothless and worthless!
