Ukraine is a puppet state to the west and Zelensky is just a figurehead.

The peace plan is dead on arrival becase it goes against the interest of the West, and of Russia. Number one of the peace plan calls for respect of sovereignty and UN recognized borders, but Russia will never give back the already incorporated territories.

Number two and number ten calls for lifting all unilateral sanctions, and abandoning the cold War mentality, and the West will never do that. Sanctions is an integral weapon in the western hegemonic order. It's more effective that going to war directly.

My prediction of this war is that it will end in a stalemate, just like Korea and North Korea, or China and Taiwan. These countries are still officially at war, since a truce has not been reached. If Russia gets all the territories it want from Ukraine, then they will to defensive, and declare victory.
