Seeing that you need 25% in 24 states to become president in Nigeria, can the south-east ever produce president because of their arrogance and pride they show towards the hausa and the Yoruba even to their leaders that tries to align with the hausas and the Yoruba cos they understand without the support of Yoruba and hausas they can never get to the seat of power. Even Obi can never get a block support like he did in 2023 because of his divide and rules and religious sentiment he used in his campaign. Who do you think is the person that can get national support from south-east in the nearest future to become president of Nigeria.

Nothing like pride,we Igbos stand for the truth and we aren’t like cowards like the yorubas.
For your information, president or no president the Igbo soar higher.A tribe that is still controlling riches even after the Biafra war.Go to church and leave the Igbos alone

It is not pride.

Igbos are the least hungry tribe in Nigeria. So, mostly they aren’t bothered….

An average Igbo family is financially stable

Never say never in anything in this life. One day I believe that the Igbos will get it right in the Nigerian political space. The right generation with the vision and mindset to align with others and some alliances ( just as Soludo said) will arise.

Not possible! If they do not lower their ego, form strong alliances they can never be president in Nigeria.

This is one of the reasons you will find it hard to clinch the presidency. As it stands today you will be shut out of power for at least 16 more years

Obi has a brighter future. He's gained many people's sentiment he's just not in a national party ni. If he can form alliance with Northerners then it's possible.

Are you talking about the coward Yorubas who used over three million of your fathers, uncles, grandfathers, mothers, and grandmothers for pepper soup and suya between 1967 and 1970? Or are there another set of Yorubas who are of Igbo origin?

Myopic reasoning taught by politicians and accepted by the brainless. What has Buhari's presidency done for the typical Northerner? You just want bragging right and then what? Politicians are united o no allow them use your head.

The question you should ask yourself is how is your life better than that of the people from the South East?

The North West and South West that have graced the uno position, how are the people's lives better than that of the people from the South East?

I really don't understand the fuse about a region producing the president as if it'll better the lives of their people. Does it even change a thing?

Keep deceiving yourself and wandering in Stockholm syndrome just because your oppressors are from your tribe.

Living a shitty life while your tribeman that is the president lives in affluence.

Until you people get sense and emancipate yourselves from ignominy, your oppressors will keep using tribalism to cage your future forever.

Shameless and unintelligent things.

The right mindset is the problem, most of them are too emotional that they don't use their brains.
I swear igbos would have had a smooth ride if they had played a neutral politics in 2015 and 2019. If Peter Obi had this kind of support, then imagine what would have happened if the igbos doesn't play a politics of hatred and bigotry, imagine if Peter Obi was using religious sentiment for campaign.

But because of their utterance, people had to think twice.
I pray they learn a lesson and get it right in 2039, even 2031 isn't sure for them cos the north will want to collect it back

People like Orji Uzor Kalu and Rochas Okorocha are politicians that have alliance with the rest of Nigeria. Unfortunately, Majority of Igbo people do not like or support them so I doubt it will ever happen.

I schooled in lagos, the west are the most tribalistic region. Nigeria is filled with ethnicity. By UN charter, South east are already qualified to become a nation it's only a matter of time and international political interest.
