CBR100:You are daft. The idiot I quoted claimed that nobody will patronise Igbos if they take their business to the east and I reminded him how clanish he is. Talking about literacy, you will only pray and wish to get to my level. Ivory Coast and Cameroon patronise Aba and Onitsha more than some states in Nigeria. |
Re: A Wake Up Call For Igbo Traders In Lagos by MikeofAfrica: 12:29pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
7upnigeria: Why are you people propagating a false narrative? Since 1999, all the governors and deputy governors of Lagos have been Yorubas. No igboman has ever contest for the Governor of Lagos under any serious party. Similarly all the LG chairmen that Lagos has produce since 1999 are yorubas. In that last election, all the Governorship and deputy Governorship candidates o the three main parties were Yorubas. atives This means that the igbos have not hold any executive position in Lagos State since 1999 notwithstanding their massive population. Hence the discussion should be how to integrate them into the mainstream of Lagos politics so as to reduce he tension in the state. However you are here spreading a false narrative that the Igbo are making their own governors in Lagos. |

CBR100:It is now imperative that you travel outside South west to other states so that you will know that the world is bigger than your ewedu farm. I was trading in those market between 2006-2008 I am not your mate. This is a market that one customer can buy goods worth 600 millions in one shop at instance. 1 Like |

Onyiridike: U still dey vex, dat is why u can't see clearly .....the truth be say Igbo are essentially traders.....taking your business back to east is technically impossible.....and unna business is not really generating much for sw... Agriculture, mineral resource, forestry, manufacturing, CofO/land tax, civil servant salary dat is where bulk of the igr comes from How much do you think and average car part market can give to the government ......dey are negligible.....not to talk of used electronics or okirika dat u ppl dominate |

LeoDeKing:I guess you were drunk when every southerner in Lagos became igbos and were asked not to vote?. Your obsession with the oil well of the south south is one of the reasons why the caliphate will soon pitch it's tenth on Lagos soon. You think they have forgotten what you did to Jonathan, during end SARS... UNA GO SOON WISE. |

MikeofAfrica: Integrate in the politics of Lagos ? For what ? No be business dem/una come do ? Abeg make them get out. Move all their businesses back to Igboland. We will happily find Lebanese, Indians, Chineese, other Africans, Americans and Europeans that will never get involved in our politics to replace them. Nonsense. As if your stay in Lagos is not for your own personal benefits. See yes, the line has been drawn, forget all the Yorubas crying on your behalf, you have seen that they can't do anything but wail online. Nobody hates you in Lagos, just do your business, you can vote but don't get involved with the selection process of our leaders, we Yorubas will give you options, from our options you then pick. Simple. |
Re: A Wake Up Call For Igbo Traders In Lagos by 7upnigeria: 1:36pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
MikeofAfrica: We know who the Igbos are by their antecedents, they always pass their boundary. Give them a mile, they'll go two miles. It's the reason Ghanaians and South africans treated your Bleep up the other time, we were just calling it XENOPHOBIA for nothing. Small opportunity to do business, you want to drag ownership with the real owners. Will hausa man give you the freedom to come to Lagos and do anyhow if Lagos was hausaland. You have taken our hospitality for weakness. If they allow your political party to become Governor now, in less than 30 years you will want an Igbo man to be Governor of Lagos. I will support anything to flush Ibos out of Lagos massively. |

Re: A Wake Up Call For Igbo Traders In Lagos by 2mch(m): 4:28pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
CBR100:In Aba all the goods are imported. If you carry your imports away it will give room for local manufacturing to spring up! And if we ban used and second hand goods, even better. All these goods are a nuisance item. Once electricity is gotten right in the SW we won’t need these second hand goods. They will lose value drastically. Thank God Buhari signed that law. 1 Like 1 Share |
