For a state or combo of states they need to have influence at federal level and state level in any of the two(APC and PDP).

The ball is in APC's court to handle the SE better than PDP did. We tried our best. We accept the current outcome.

The next battle in the South is who gets the VP ticket in 2031. The SE APC bigwigs are working towards that, as it would mean an SE Presidency in 2039.
