Going to court at this point in time is a waste of time and resources.Jagaban can not removed. The aggrieved parties starts preparing for 2027 in earnest. If they do their home work well, luck might smile at them but,for now.The vacancy in Aso Rock has been occupied by Tinubu against all odds. For those staging meaningless protests, whoever dies for any politician is at his own peril.Life goes on. God bless Nigeria 3 Likes |

Una don come again with una confusion. As FCT no b state, dem consider am as an additional state not dat apart from 25% votes in 2/3 of the states then an additional 25% in FCT. No b by force to win FCT. 1 Like 1 Share |

With the way things are going Nigeria will resort to regional government or arnachy soonest. Let me add if Supreme court decides that 25% is needed in Abuja alone to become the president of Nigeria then what happened in Lagos will be a childsplay to what will happen to Ibo's and probably non indegines in Abuja during every presidential election. Obidients should better have a long term view of their position instead of this senseless desperation for Ibo after his election loss. |

NaijaCowFarm: You are a MUMU and not a lawyer. Ask your self if FCT didn't meet the requirements of being referred to as a state when it has all govermental council's like that of a state and they being elective. And also, taken apart " ....25% ..." in the FCT determining the winner , would be giving the power to FCT, over and above ALL 36 states put together. Meaning; One who loses power of highest vote and not attain 25% but despite not having all these requirements but only wins 25% in the FCT would still be declared the winner?? 4 Likes 1 Share |

You guys should allow the courts so it's job, and experienced judges interpret the law. All these analysis from English teachers and small lawyers drafting affidavits at high court Ikeja is enough. Some laymen now claim to be more learned in law than SANs . Na wa o |

We have a lot educated illiterates in the country. Please list out all the states of the federation and capital. You expect the constitution to write Abia, Bauchi, Lagos.........and FCT when it in fact is just 36 States and FCT an English word and not conditional statement. Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. If you have to win the Prime minister position you have to win the Majority in the 10 Provinces and the 3 territories. Does this mean if you don't win the majority in those 3 territories but you win the Majority in the total votes you aren't declared the winner? Make una dey think for goodness sake. Focus these useless energy in something much more productive like changing the land use act and debating it. The law is an ass but this is actually very myopic that someone with a SAN would be bringing such up. 2 Likes |

Keegan: And F.C.T... For your information... FCT is the seat of NIGERIA power .FCT controls everything in Nigeria and it's very important. It's obvious you have never been to F.C.T .. FCT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAN ANY STATE IN NIGERIA. WHY IS ALL THE MDA's all situated in FCT Even the 36 state has their houses in FCT. Icpc, Navy ,army,NCC,JAMB( ・ั﹏・ั) NYSC, ALL HAS THEIR HEAD QUARTERS IN F.C.T. IF YOU NO WIN HERE. YOURE NOT A WINNER 3 Likes |
