Buhari in 2015 met N100,000.00 exchanging for $500 at N200/$, but after Buharinomics of our economy, he is leaving us in 2023 at N100,000.00 exchanging for $125 at approximately N800/$1. Every Nigerian is now laboring for nothing. $125 can be an hour payment is some economies of the world like US, or Europe. Here a whole month is spent just to make an hour pay. Imagine what those earning less than N100,000 are actually earning in USD. (Divide with 800). N10,000,000 in 2015 was worth $50,000 but today it is worth $12,500. What a country of devaluation of efforts. Those that had fixed deposits in Naira are on a long thing. It lost all value. Now it is Tinubunonomics. If the 75% loss of value continues then we are going to have N100,000.00 exchanging for around $35. I laugh and I know you do. We are playing politics. If the politics is not affecting the economy I may not bother much but here, we are having a whole generation being mismanaged and their future mesmerized. It is not that anything improved after all. Rice in 2015 was around N12,000 to N15,000 but today it goes for N40,000 to N45,000 . Fuel was N98 now N350. Buharinomics will make a good academic research for the literal mind in the future. Let's see how it goes. |
