Our client is looking to hire a professional Housekeeper for a hotel in Surulere able to attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.



We are recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Responsibilities:

-Execute a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.

-Confirm all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.

-Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.

-Notify superiors of any damages, deficits and disturbances.

-Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

-Review stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate.

-Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

-Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of operating guidelines.

-Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.

-Follow grooming and appearance guidelines and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.

-Prepare the housekeeping cart upon arrival and at shift closing daily.

-Use and update the room assignment status clipboard.

-Sign out and sign-in master room keys daily. Ensure master keys are always secure (attached to self) and never loaned to anyone or taken off the property.

-Report room condition and status to the head housekeeper and/or the front desk.

-Clean guest rooms to Brand and time standards.

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.

Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Customer-oriented and friendly.

Prioritization and time management skills.

Working quickly without compromising quality.

Knowledge of English language.

Candidate should possess an OND or SSCE/ GCE/ NECO qualification.
