PHED Blackout: Residents Of Nkpolu Community In Rivers State Cry Out by PrinceofSarcasm: 11:21am On Mar 30, 2023 |
Aggrieved residents of in Nkpolu community , close to the East West Road have decried their continued living without electricity over a period of over 6 months . Since December 2022 power supply to the entire Nkpolu community has been an average of 4 hours every 48 hours yet the staff of PHED continue with their extremely poor service delivery in the neighborhood. Since the new CEO Dr Benson Uwheru took over from Ajagbawa the Nkpolu community was cut off and has since been subjected to non existent power supply and constant outrageous estimated billing and disconnection. As at today it's was 21st of May that the community last had power supply for 4 hours . Prior to that the average supply ratio is 4 hours supply every 48 hours and the residents have written several emails to the chief executive officer himself Dr Benson Uwheru seeking his assistance in this issue but he has ignored all emails texts and phone calls. PHED has really fallen in standard since Dr Benson Uwheru took over as can bee witnessed in the terrible power supply in the community. Nkpolu community Youth leaders and excise stated they that are getting ready for a massive protest to the PHED HEAD office in Moscow Road to request the removal of the current CEO Dr Benson Uwheru due to the intimidation and biased power supply to the community since December 2022 |
