See where debt has placed Lagos

What is your obsession with Lagos?
Face your state.
Too early to start taking Panadol over someone else head.

Most of the south west states.

We don't hold our governors accountable like our south east brothers.

Upon all the IGR
I see on the list one state in the SE has over 200b debt which is astronomical. Wonder what they did with all that money. Ohh, gobina fella built personal housing estates, university, shopping malls, statues of Mandela etc.
His successor na celebrated guyman, so no point in asking what he does with money.

Oyetola was able to pay some of osun debts. He was able to pay salaries and pensioners and he never borrowed a kobo..

Yet, diff construction happened. All without borrowing..

So how's Osun sinking?

You people are just deliberately obtuse. Do you even know the meaning of PPP.

The first P starts for Public, meaning the state also invests in the project.

Oga, hope you are sure of what you say. I had paddies in that state and I assure you, their clean out is the highest I have seen. Infact one will wonder how that state survived based on how the chippings was going on. I actually thought the place was richer than rivers and Lagos.
Imagine where a junior political appointee will have over 1.5b in just one account. 1 account ohh, and other accounts dey! Fully paid for properties in atleast 3 countries abroad. Other officials too will have theirs, so what will remain for citizens naa? shocked
Anyway, I was talking with a paddy based abroad, and he says it is thesame all over, that one of his niggars, an advicer in a SE state is controlling money as if it is paper. That sent him 2m just ontop weekend money.

Despite all the stories and propaganda against Okowa, Delta State is still grateful to God the mace thief lost the guber polls! grin. But be like the evidence before us shows the effect of Atiku’s political rascality on the State’s finances sha. undecided

I am surprised at the level of Delta's debt.
Lagos can repay it's debts without too much stress because of it's huge IGR, but should still proceed with caution.

Why is Lagos State your headache
You should be more concerned and worried about your state and not a state that embarks on mega and world-class projects and ensure that those projects are completed and put to use.

You should be worried about states that build sub-standard projects and make a lot of noise about them on social media.
grin grin grin
The dude has a serious inferiority complex. Anytime someone puts up a post about anything related to IGR or development in Lagos, you can count on a Pavlovian response from him, as sure as day turns into night. He does this even when no one so much as mentions the SE in any way!

Why someone who calls himself the "first son" of Anambra should be so aggravated by matters in Lagos and the southwest is unfathomable.

south west have the best economy in Nigeria.

With good economy comes with good debt profile.

That's why you see the igbos as you said it rush to south west to make a living because the economy is buoyant.

rivers make a lot of money from oil and economy activities of rivers apart from oil is actually very decent.
Unlike states like akwa ibom and delta that donot have same economic activity like rivers apart from oil.

It will be ridiculous for rivers to have huge debt profile without over taken Lagos in every other indices.

When will they pay off all these debts? This is excluded the one Buhari is owing China, Japan, US and the whole world.

These debts will never be paid off... It can only increase or decrease (very unlikely)

With the billions Lagos makes monthly and claiming the richest State in Naija, they're owing debt of almost a Trillion Naira and counting
