Elections have just been concluded and across the South East, most of the state and national assembly winners were populist candidates. So if the region really wants a referendum on Biafra, best approach is to mobilize these lawmakers to move motion for Biafra referendum in their various states assemblies and then those in the national assembly also take it from there. Enough of the blackmail calling on the UN and the President who don't have the power to give referendum.

What am so sure of however is that the people don't really want Biafra. They understand what it means to live not just in a landlocked African country but an enclave like Lesotho, hemmed on all sides by Nigeria. It means Biafra can't sign any military treaty with any country but Nigeria, 100% of her international trade and custom policy would be dependant on Nigeria, they will pay double custom duties for imports and things would be so expensive inside their country. They are smart enough to know that they would be dependent on Nigeria for food importation with prices being dictated to them and they won't have enough revenue to pay their civil service. Who wants such a country? Fo the SE people that remain in Nigeria, they understand that property laws may be changed once they are no longer Nigerians, C of Os and tenancy laws may change for them and cost of doing biz would increase. They know all these. And their leaders ruling in d SE have never shown example of good governance to make them change suddenly and make Biafra worth returning to.

The. Biafra blackmail has been used in d past, IPOB was d backbone used to push the Peter Obi presidential adventure which fell way short on Feb 25. Now that the adventure has gone in smoke, are we to wait for a new blackmail? Just that this time around, we can easily tell them to tell their representatives to move the motion for referendum first at the state level. Afterall they got their boys elected. If they cannot initiate the motion, then enough, talks of Biafra should stop forthwith, the madness of Monday sit at home should end and let's all build Nigeria together cos we know d truth, no one is really going anywhere!

With their obsession for Lagos, they don’t really want to go o.

Their undying love for Lagos has truly shown that the cry for secession has always been fake

Geographically, no Igbo tribe reside in any of the coastal lands of Nigeria. Historically, Igbos lived in the hinterlands. What else do u want to use to feed your childish fantasies? You want to grab the lands of the Ijaws, Kalabaris, Ogonis, Andonis, Orons and Ibibios? Some of u are worse land grabbers than d Fulanis u wwil so much against. Difference is thhat u have not been able to grab power. Once u do that, God have mercy on the coastal people of the Niger Delta!!!

But that aside, mobilize for referendum motion from your state houses of assembly
