Going into the match, it wuz a battle of 2 impressive teams from week 1 (madrid beating athletico 2-1 n villareal embarassing local rivals valencia @ d mestalla) villareal also on d bc of 6 match winning streak 4rm last season. Villareal started brightest n dominated possession bt madrid managed to break 4ward n create something n robinho came close hitting d upright 4rm a tight angle. Villareal created bt dey couldn't passd impressive fabio n cristoph bt a fabulous long ball 4rm sneijder on d break 4 raul meant madrid went 0-1 into the break. It went worse for villareal in the second half as madrid dictated the game wid one touch football n flair in the course running riot, 2 gols 4rm sneijder (3 in 2 games) n 1 each 4rm ruud n guti sealed villareal's fate. Villareal will av felt the result wuz unfair in a match they were much in, they were nt 2 bad thou bt dey met the rejuvenated (yes) merengues.
