5 students o Abia State University r-aped a female student and videotaped it all while it was happening http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headlines/111518-abia-state-university-gang-violation-video-causes-nationwide-rage.html Ablogger, Emmanuel, took a different position. He wrote, “I have no comment but questions. Was she dragged to the room or forced? We watched the video here in Imo and from the look of things she willingly went to their house. It is assumed nobody was present when she insulted the guys, so how sure are we it was an insult? I am not in support of the violation but I need the true story of what led to the violation.” Very typical Nigerian excuse. Not surprised at all. Are pros now too expensive for you barbarians? |

Point of correction, the five in question are not Abia State Students and could be from any part of Nigeria. It is only in Nigeria that crimes are tribalised. hypocrite!! http://lindaikeji..com/ |

Either give proof that they're not students or be quiet Them not being students actually makes it more than likely that they're from the East. Keep crying with cap lock instead of seeking justice for your sister. Olote. |

and seeing that they havent caught the men, how would they know if they're students or not? also where they're originally from? |
Re: Animals In The East by Nnenna1(f): 4:35pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
I find it weird that everyone is onto the personality, whereabout, and now ethnicity of men who raped the poor girl, rather than the state of the poor girl herself. Na wa o. |
Re: Animals In The East by nusdog: 4:38pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
There's are more questions than answers to the alleged 'r.ape' video that it's authenticity becomes doubt. 1. Where is the alleged girl who was supposedly violated, and why hasn't she come forward to confirm the story? 2. How can one claim violation when there was never any sign of coercion or threats? I'm thinking this video is some kind of gimmick to attract media attention. |
Re: Animals In The East by ThiefOfHearts(f): 4:46pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
Thank you for proving my point that Nigerian men are sick. who says she hasnt come forward? what do you even know about the story with your Aba-made CSI logic Did you see the video to know there were no corcesion or threats? Did you even read the bloody article asinwin oshi |
Re: Animals In The East by ThiefOfHearts(f): 4:54pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
The video, which PUNCH METRO watched on Monday, shows five laughing young men having brutal sex with a helpless female. Then, she starts screaming that they should kill hger, and in between, you will hear her scream out in pain as one guy stands up and another penetrates her, and all the while, these boys are laughing. Is that enough for you, nusdog |
Re: Animals In The East by nusdog: 4:58pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
ThiefOfHearts: If she has come forward, what's her name and who did she report to? As per your insultive rants, I'll say back to sender. It shows how shallow you reason. |
Re: Animals In The East by ThiefOfHearts(f): 5:08pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
back to sender? are you 10 years old? Why do you need her name? and if she didnt report, how do they know when and where it happened? How many guys? what is wrong with you? |
Re: Animals In The East by nusdog: 5:21pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
All these insultive language you're throwing around doesn't make any sense. The video was said to have been distributed on the internet by the supposed perpetrators. That's how it came to public knowledge. Now my question is: Show me evidence that the said victim came forward to confirm the story? |
Re: Animals In The East by nusdog: 6:06pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
No evidence yet? It's obvious you came here to spread your deluded, bigoted views when the rest of us are concerned with getting to the truth of the matter. Silly slowpoke. |

Beast. |

Bliss4Lyfe: Let's not deceive ourselves, they weren't speaking latin. . . Apart from the language, that thick Igbotic accent cannot be mistaken for 'any part of Nigeria'. @TOH Not only men in the East, the current crop of Nigerian men is utterly distasteful. And I think agencies involved with issues like this need to monitor NL, seems to be the breeding site for rapists. There was one time I read here on NL of a corper sleeping with secondary school students and was boasting about it. I froze that day on the spot. Such crass attitude tells you the primitive wiring of many Nigerian men. Many cannot draw the line to where crime begins on sexual matters. Only a tiny fraction are worth even talking to. I think though the girl needs to come out, what life can she possibly be living with her butt all over the internet? |
Re: Animals In The East by anonymous6(f): 9:52pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
@OP Barbaric & disgusting behavior, those 5 men ding dongs should be cut off @Stillwater "There was one time I read here on NL of a corper sleeping with secondary school students and was boasting about it. I froze that day on the spot. Such crass attitude tells you the primitive wiring of many Nigerian men." This is not the first time I heard of stories of order Nigerian men getting busy with young Nigerian teenage girls in high school or in college but this is not only in Nigeria, there are stories like this in other African countries. These african men are nothing more then psychos as far as I am concerned. |

stillwater: Let them keep deceiving themselves and you're right the disgusting pigs on NL are the reason why I keep taking sabbaticals, I cant deal with the perverted garbage I read esp when it's from trash that live in a country with no laws. It bothers me and makes me lash out on the board and Im trying to avoid that. so sick. People can say "who's forcing these girls" people forget that these pathetic corpers are sent to very rural areas with naive girls who thin these jobless boneheads have authority over them, *sighs* I dont wanna think about it |
Re: Animals In The East by OgidiBoy(m): 11:15pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
What those guys "animals" did is wrong and I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest. Come to think of it though, I thought NL now has a "Violent/Disgusting Non-Celebrity Crimes" section, I would think this thread belongs there, or are we trying to make it an Igbo issue because r .a. p. e only happens in the East. |
Re: Animals In The East by Nobody: 12:23am On Sep 21, 2011 |
anonymous6: It's everywhere, but to come online and boast about it? That is one scary feeling and it shows that many of them are illiterate although they attended a school, but the school never passed through them. If only our government can get things right for once. The issue of violation and intimate harassment is taken so nonchalantly by the authorities. Nigerian women need to stand up for themselves, just as their counterparts have done in the West. The men won't help you, especially in that country, where the woman is at fault for everything. ThiefOfHearts: I remember my sisters telling me a classmate of theirs in secondary school went to a party, and there was this guy that started harassing her to come with him, but she declined. Then he proceeded to forcefully drag her to the bedroom. It took a couple of her guy friends that had to beg him and pay him off to leave her alone, because he is like the biggest boy in the party. I was so mad when I heard this to say the least. I have also talked about here on NL how women get harassed in market places. My own encounter was with the Igbo men in Tejuosho market. They grab your hands, try to touch your bosoms, your butt etc. One of them had the audacity to say I should be quiet that many men are here and their sister no be me could be violated. Then you walk on the streets, there's always a Arrow trying to grab your hand because he likes you. Freaking beasts. . . intimate harassment is normal to these dregs that populate Nigeria. It would go a long way in educating these primitive mindset. It is this same mindset they carry into politics, that is why Nigeria is still as backward as it is today. Mothers, fathers would keep on compounding the female child with life threatening advice on pregnancy or having a boyfriend , whereas they release beasts as sons to the society, their sons are allowed to be causing havoc to women. Rubbish!!! This issue need to be nipped in a bud. It could be anyone of us tomorrow. |
Re: Animals In The East by aloyemeka1: 1:30am On Sep 21, 2011 |
stillwater: stillwater: So that experience coupled with the ABSU violation video is enough to call Igbo men animals?. There are no Yoruba touts harassing people on the streets of Lagos or no Yoruba men/women who violation women, abi?. Raping is now the worst of all crimes in Nigeria because it was apparently committed by the Igbo?. I guess the white people are always right when they claim that black women are only good for popping babies and sucking the welfare system dry and black men are synonymous with violent crimes?. They must be right, after all there are many of them in jail. Funny how you ignored this topic in teh crime section only to discuss it at length in the "hatred" section. Na waaah, Nigeria has more ethnic hatred than one can imagine. |
Re: Animals In The East by Nobody: 2:03am On Sep 21, 2011 |
aloy/emeka: So out of all the tribes to mention why pick on Yoruba? Tribal virgin!!! In me and you who has more ethnic hatred, let's go through our posts on NL and see who's more of a tribalist. You wanna take it on? Is it Yoruba/Hausa/Ijaw men in Tejuosho market that harassed me? I cannot say the truth again on my experience because I don't want to be ethnically biased? You want to deceive your entire existence and say those men in the video are not Igbos? What kind of two faced political correctness from NL's renowned tribalist is this? Always attacking Yoruba women and you have the guts to address me on ethnic hatred? Save it for somebody who doesn't know who you are and what you are about. I guess that's why you failed to read where I said 'Not only men in the East, the current crop of Nigerian men is utterly distasteful.' Rubbish. You just couldn't wait to type Yoruba in your reply. Next time read well. You think I'm Yoruba and would be pained by your trashy tribal talks by referring to them? The topic aptly puts the situation in its right context. . . Animals in the East. God forbid that rapists would be aligned with those referred to as Sons in the East. There are animals everywhere, the focus today are the ones in the east. When the animals from West commit their own atrocity, I can trust you and your ilk to attend to that one. Abi no be aloyemeka I know? |

LOL Isnt it common knowledge that stillwater is an Igbo girl? so this goat babbling about Yorubas is hilarious or does it bother you that she didnt dilute her experiences for your pleasure LOL women arent safe there stillwater. Look at how the thread about wifebeating in Nigeria turned out, beasts coming out of their caves making excuses My uncle' friend's friend's son's friend mention that a neighbor's wife slapped him, abi iis that name the same as the thousands ofd domestic abuse cases against women? I-mbeciles |
