I must confess that I'm disturbed by the persistent hatred that Obidients have for me.

I had to block an Obidient whom I've known for over 20 years because he couldn't resist the temptation to join in trolling me, & didn't want to take down the tweet.

The hatred isn't justified.

The next thing they are after is how to take Nairaland away from him.

He who pleases the mob should not raise alarm when the mob feast on him.

I wondered this country without Obidients , tranny would have being constitutionalized by APC led government.

Obidients are the Luther Martin Kings of our time, who where resilience in the face of oppressors and adversaries.

Seun, you are a public figure whom should be neutral in the affairs of politics, but you choosed "No" . . . . You and your mods are very free to sanction JealousCobra 😎

Truth is bitter !

The obidient move is like the Arab spring.

They're not quitting at the moment.

There are more obidients in USA, Canada and UK than in Nigeria.

It might looks a joke but the Nigeria I know cannot contain it

If you go to the their twitter space, you must never never never offer a different opinion like telling them to take it easy with the vitriolic statements or telling them to look in retrospect what could have been done better.

After you request a mic, and you don't support any of their actions below on their twitter space, your mic gets tuned off, you get kicked out and gets insulted on top. It's either you agree that Peter Obi is the principal, Peter Obi is the god, Peter Obi won the election even in Katsina,Kano and Maiduguri, Let's tear everything down, CJN is agbado, INEC is agbado, Police and DSS are agbado, Cursing and insulting PDP and APC e.t.c

They're equally on ground.

You saw them at the polling unit with their PVCs voting and singing even under the rain.

You saw those that didn't vote protesting angrily "we want to vote"

You saw them releasing an album and partaking in the "Oga yakubu challenge"

My brother... they're steadily on ground

Voting is the right of every Nigerian (Whether APC, PDP, NNPP, LP, or no party) and what we are talking about here is online hate peddling which they do coupled with their senseless propaganda.

No Obidient can say he is going physical on the street to attack Tinubu supporter for example blow for blow in their strong area nor do we have Obidident that can go to Aso rock with force and demand overthrow of the government.

Seun caused it in the first place. Why still retain moderators on nairaland that the users on this app are always complained about them and other banning of their monikers. Put up a poll on nairaland and list the moderators the people hate most and their ways of life towards the users on nairaland. From there nairalanders will start to show love ❤️ that you are neutral in your dealings. Without that your forum will keep on breed hatred among the tribes on nairaland.

Their plan is to hijack Nairaland from the owner.

One posted a thread last week on how they can form a formidable group and excos for the group on Nairaland

The mob would not support the mod they already hate because he is a Tinubu supporter.

Babajide Otitoju of journalist hangout TVC have singlehandedly reduced the views and subscription to journalist hangout because of his partisan politics.

We thought he was an unbiased journalist but no... He has shown Nigeria his real self with just this concluded election.

He'll soon cry too he has lost friends of 40yrs because of obidient move.

When we say Nigeria needs a revolution you guys will turn blind eye.

That's the thing, they don't care that he supported Peter Obi and lent the LP a platform on Nairaland, because for them the one true way to be "Obedient" is to agree with them all the time on absolutely everything. Even the slightest deviation is enough to earn a casting into the darkness as a heretic.

This is precisely what Wole Soyinka (who has made personal sacrifices most of the "Obidients" could never even imagine) was getting at when he talked about "fascist" tendencies. Intolerance of any deviation from orthodoxy, no matter how slight, is the mark of a totalitarian movement, not a political party motivated by fairness and justice.

The boy is an idiot. He is yet to know that ibos have a deep-seated hatred and envy for Yorubas. He is trying to please them by sacrificing his Yoruba brethren like other idiots and weak minded buffoons such as falz. Did he not watch Ahmadu Bello's interview where he aptly described the basic ibo character? Fulanis and ibos are the two most clannish tribes in Nigeria. You should not hate them but you should deal with them cautiously. A case in point is chinua Achebe who always laughed with Soyinka but envied him till death. I read his book There Was A Country and was grossly disappointed with the crass and gratuitous envy.

Now another ibo writer has taken over the mantle from Achebe.

So your prescription for Seun to counter the lynch mob is to surrender to mob rule entirely by turning moderation into a popularity contest? You are essentially asking him to kill the platform he has spent so many years nurturing by turning it into yet another echo chamber for "Obidient" trolls and propagandists, who will quickly scare off everyone else. Somehow I doubt that's going to happen ...

E ku ishe opolo. I never see simp wey pass Seun in my entire life. His desire to be validated by ibos has reached obsessive proportions. Unfortunately for him, nothing he ever does would be deemed enough for them. He will learn by force. He ain't seen nothing yet. Same goes for other Yoruba Zombidients.
