I Neva attend for 1 day, we wey Dem post 4 riverine area, which kind service u wan render. All the service they need should be funded by the federal government.

Bro if u are serving in Abuja, no body should deceive you, miss CDS for one month and you will know the mess you will get yourself into, some biometrics officers will even refuse to do ur monthly clearance except your CDS officer clears you. the only way to escape it in Abuja is to get someone to be taking the attendance for you. even in other states, there are states that take it serious, no one should use the experience in other states to deceive you.

yes, the officer will still clear you, but with little shakara. Some of them are not so wicked, but some behaves like NYSC DG himself, but in all you do, if u are serving where CDS is compulsory, don't miss it, if you will have to do that, it should not be more than two times a month.

that is why i said states are different bro, in Benue for instance, Vandeikya LGA is a village but u don't dare miss your CDS for a whole month. my course mate is serving in Akwa Ibom, it's a village but she told me that she has to answer a query for not attending CDS for a month after the biometrics officer refused to capture her.

CDS is anither waste of time but its very important now. From this month nysc has introduced CDs biometric which means after monthly thumbprint u get to tbumpront for CDs again.

Depends on how wicked your LI is like during my time at Eti osa 3 or 2
I no remember again….lol the short LI was very means we even do thumb prints during CDS if you miss no clearance unless you give good reason in writing ✍️.

You never meet person like Uju Abanifi those years, you won't even imagine missing CDS. Then, there was no biometric sef but na wahala.

You should ask is getting employment after spending alot of funds in tertiary institution important ? because I don't see a very good reason one who's not sick will be avoiding cds for a whole month..this is one of the reason our civil service is poor ..you see civil servants especially those guys in LG services absconding from work yet will still want to be paid in full... please do your best not to get extra year because u will regret it...I have a good friend of mine who had extra year ..he was blaming himself all through

In my local government, you must bring your CDS card, signed by your CDS coordinator along with you when coming for your monthly clearance.

I attend for fun and catch up with my mates.
