ndu_chucks:

Fashola is joined to Tinubu and his gang at the hips - he is not going anywhere. Ever before Fashola became Governor, he and several other ACN politicians have been going to Dubai yearly for lesser Hajj and creating 'unbreakeable' bonds. These bonds are held tightly by shared religion and 'who knows what else'. I saw and heard Tinubu in Dubai introduce Fashola as the next governor of Lagos many years ago. They will do Fashola in if he abandons them.

I actually feel sorry for Fashola because he cannot reach his political potential as long as Tinubu is on the scene.

resounding truth

Must They Humiliate Tinubu Like This?

What humiliation ?

Hasn't Tinubu humiliated the impoverished Lagosians with hunger by his LOOtocracy ?

Even if he is hung by his bits, I will not have the slightest pity on him.

As he and all the Naija LOOtocrats have absolutely no mercy on the common man when they corner our commonwealth exclusively for themselves, their children and their cronies.

You will only have pity for him and any thieving Nigerian politician if you are in support of them holding us by the jugular.

I guess 300 million naire house worth sleeping on nairaland defending roques.

Dear Mallam Nasir,
I am playing with an idea in my mind. I am thinking of taking time off (a sabbatical so to say) and coming to Nigeria as a free moral agent to try to influence the direction of the 2011 elections. I am convinced that if I am on the ground my influence will be greater. I would want to arrange something on the ground similar to what Trippi did in Zimbabwe and organize private citizen groups and equip them with technology and skills to monitor the elections clandestinely and relay video and oral reports to the world media in real time and force the government and the INEC to be honest and conduct free and fair elections. One thing holding me back is that I will need accommodation in Abuja. I have been exploring options but Abuja is even more expensive than the U.S and landlords are demanding 2 years rent in advance. Respectfully sir, I was wondering if you could help in this regard.
Regards,
Reno.

Lol! Thats the sad part of life in a democracy. The rich get to enjoy life even when charged as criminals, they get the best lawyers that can pull rabbits out of a hat, while the poor have no such choices and languish in jail until trial. This is one area of the Nigerian system that we really need to put pressure on until its fixed. The poor should have the same rights and freedoms as the rich.

Nigerian Politicians and their double standard, GEJ is proposing an amendment to the costitution so that public office holders can operate foreign account, at the same time they are using same to nail an opponent. If it is a wrong law,why is it right for this shenanigan?

What difference will this make and how will it solve our issues?

Nigerians have this 'medicine after death' mentality, instead of focusing on how to prevent current/future leaders from doing this, they look for scapegoats to feed people's blood thirst without solving the underlying problem.

The jokes on all of us.

We shouldn't be a slave driver, let us all allow these old crooks to beat each other up, regardless of the party they belong to. @ the end I believe Nigerians will be the ones to benefit.
Where is Balogun today?
And where is Bode George?
I think Tinubu too is going toward the same path. At least Fashola will get a chance and space to exhale.

bola ahmed sangodele aka. tinubu is a religion fanatics. that's why he always mute the idea of putting muslims in goverment houses as governors. he is already planning to plant another muslim to succed fashola, his confession on boko haram issues should not be taking lightly by the state security services, he knew much about it, and about their source of funding, take it or leave it,that's the fact.
