Abuja has a special status, not interms of individual votes but structure.

Your vote and that of the president are equal, that's what democracy is.
There is no special status in democracy

The constitution made the president the governor of the FCT which he administer through the FCT minister.

Can you govern a people without getting just 25% legitimacy?

The law does not require the winner of the election to win Abuja but get 25%. How does someone winning prevent you from getting 25%, are you so unpopular?
JJuanMiguel:

So the weight of the vote of one Abuja inhabitant is more important than your own in democracy?

Desperation is just making you people grasp at straw.

Henceforth, someone can even win Abuja and lose in the remaining 36 states and still go to court if we want to start using the ipob method

Are you a legal practitioner? In law there's what we call judicial precedence, in 2005 similar case was resolved between OBJ and Buhari and the supreme court ruled that obtaining 25% votes in FCT was mandatory. We shouldn't be blinded by sentiments due to ethno religious interest, just like the muslim muslim ticket, such errors hasn't happened before in our polity moreover there would have been violence if it was a christian-christian ticket.

At the bolded, there is no such Judgement anywhere, definitely not the one referenced by the OP.

25% in at least 24 states including fct.

Which means fct may be part of the 24 states.

Read your constitution, what is two thirds of 36 states 24

What the Court is saying is that fct can also be counted as part of the 24 states for the purpose of fulfilling this criteria. It doesn't mean u must get 25% in fct. There's nothing special about fct in the constitution.

The Supreme Court was trying to prevent a situation where someone wins 23 states and then fct, only to be disqualified that fct is not a state. Fct is counted as a state in this case.

Bottom line: Tinubu won fair and square.

They didn't say "including".

Why is English too hard for Nigerians??

Tinubu is an Illegitimate president Elect.

The requirement is 25% in 2/3 of the states and fct, because it is practically impossible to get 25% everywhere.

So not getting 25% in fct is not about popularity, I'm not even sure obi got up to 3% in states like katsina, zamfara, Borno, jigawa etc.

Obi is just in court to keep you interested and not feel disappointed about all your supports for him going to waste
Because realistically, he didn't get the majority votes and neither did he get 25% in 2/3

We just love to ridicule ourselves. People have suddenly turned blind and dumb to simple english.

Constitutionallly Nigeria has no president elect, but since english language is not our first language and translating the constitutional requirement for the FCT abuja has become a challenge, Let those in charge consult the UK judiciary to explain what the word "AND" means.

You are the one struggling with English

So if we are to follow ipob interpretation, a candidate can get 80% of the votes in fct and lose the 36 states and still go to court

We're telling you that inec did not collate polling unit results, and that we will prove it in court yet you're still judging us by inec fraudulent results.

We will get the court to accept the polling unit results from 11 states we were rigged out at collation center. You don't even know the details of Obi's petition

Infact the fact are there for Nigerians to see for themselves. Stop wailing here joor. The truths will be revealed at the end of the day in the tribunal and Supreme Court of justice . We believe the justice will take it course, the greatest court in Nigeria, The Supreme Court of justice will give their ruling on the law and the judgement they ruled back during Obj era . The judgement still subsists till today.

Your wailing is too much. How can Tinubu lose mandate when none of his opponents even came close to fulfilling the conditions for winning election? And the worst of them is Obi. How will he climb over Atiku, apart from using magic?

This will be the first time we will be going this route so the Judges will surely give it their own interpretation.

S. 134(2): He has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two thirds of all states in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.”

The words here are "each" and "and".

Each is a distributive adjective pronoun, which denotes or refers to every one of the persons or things mentioned; every one or two or more persons or things, composing the whole, separately considered.” (SC in Eyisi & Ors v State 2000)

And is performing the function of joining two expressions or sentences which could be inseparable, integrated, joint or matched. (SC in Buhari v INEC 2008)

I think even though the SC has not rud as a State.
you are wrong. If the law had said "25% in the states including the fct", tinubu would have been home and dry
