Tareq1105:Lie. Okene's population is much greater than that of Dekina. And what is voting strength if not population. Though I agree generally, Igala enjoys much higher population superiority ahead of Ebira. Igalas have 9 LGA under its full control. But the 5 LGA under Central Zone don't belong to Ebiras. Ebira has just Okene, Adavi and Okehi LGA. The other two, Ajaokuta and Ogori Magongo are not under the Control of Ebira. 5 Likes |

Acidosis: The deputy gov is Okun?? If yes, then probably Ebira and Okun relationship will continue I heard they removed Muri and he was the one Kogi East voted massively for. Kogi should be rotating the governors like Delta. 4 Likes |

babaolofin: I have and I'm quite disappointed because kogi has a lot of potentials. Actually in abuja, we all know sometimes the northerners favour themselves a lot in terms of getting jobs and contracts or scholarships. That's why in a lot of ministries you hear hausa being spoken all around. It's just that when people leave kogi they don't want to return to develop kogi. . They would rather stay in abuja or karu nasarawa. Even Bello governs from Abuja as I heard. Lokoja has a lot of potentials. The crowd that stops to take a break from travel is a huge market that hasn't been fully taped into. 5 Likes 1 Share |

By the grace of God, you will be alive to witness Nov 11th gubernatorial election in Kogi State, maybe then, your songs will change to TRIBUNAL WILL COLLECT OUR MANDATE FOR US. 3 Likes |

APC Produces Two Governorship Candidates In Kogi State. The All Progressieve Congress (APC) has produced two governorship candidates in the party’s primaries that held across the wards in Kogi State on Friday being 14th April 2023. According to the result made available to the media, Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka has scored 356,241 votes to defeat his closet Rival, one Jimoh Ododo who scored 74,027 votes. However, drama started when the committee that conducted the election was induced and forced by the Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to announce his annointed candidate, Jimoh Ododo, as the winner of the said election. Speaking to the media, a close supporter of Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka, he said, ” our Candidate has emerged as the winner and there is nothing Bello can do about it. From the result in 14 Local Government Areas out of 21, it showed clearly that Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka is the choice of the people. It may interest the general public to know that Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka against all odds won in the following 14 LGAs: Idah, Ibaji, Bassa, Dekina, Igala-Mela, Ofu, Olamaboro, Ankpa, Ajaokuta, Kabba Bunu, Lokoja, Koton Karfe, Ogori Magogo and Yagba West” The added, ” Governor Yahaya Bello who inherited late Prince Abubakar Audu’s vote under APC cannot continue to force his will on the good people of Kogi State”. He said, “as it is now, Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka is the authentic candidate of the APC as the will of Bello cannot over ride five million Kogites”. He however, thanked Kogites for voting Alhaji Muri Mutala Ajaka saying, it is a new dawn in Kogi State as he will not let them down. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ok, thank God its not Labour party because by now Adeyemi with 1,500 vote would claimed the winner over Ododo with over 74,000 votes. Its only in Labour someone in far 3rd position with no single state to his credit in entire SW except 10k in Lagos and 2 states in the North and claimed he won the election, its only Labour. It's only in Labour the number of votes that separate him from the winner is over a million infact almost 2million but ter belive he won in his dream, only in Labour. Pls who is pdp candidate abeg? make better people come on board and not those who want to only win Abuja and become the president of their village. 3 Likes 1 Share |

clockwisereport: Yes, well noted, shares boundary with 10 other states and as a result is influenced by cultures from those other states. Also has many ethnic/sub ethnic groups though three are the major ones. Also dino winning the pdp ticket may swing the play in APC's favour considering the usual sentiments that drive votings plus the Yahaya Bello's factor. These simply are the current realities. 1 Like |

I like your feedback here though with less invectives. It increases the blood pressure if one uses hard core invectives. Whoa!
