INEC is improving, in the good old days, INEC won't have done what they are doing now re Adamawa.

But if we want free and fair elections, Nigerians have to wish for it to happen. Because INEC is not responsible for free and fair elections, Nigerians are.

Many of the Tinubu people that are praising INEC, some 15 years ago they were cursing INEC. Many Obidients were praising INEC then.

They should all calm down. Typical of Nigerians, when something goes wrong instead of conducting a detailed investigation, they are calling for scraping of INEC, some are even blaming democracy. No system is perfect, what needs to be done is find out what went wrong and fix it asap
The same way Yakubu sought to know what was wrong when Dino was complaining at the National Collation Centre and partymen walking out? The same way Yakubu calmed down to look at the digits they were reeling out to him and the world? The same way Yakubu calmed down to listen to the International Observers? The same way Yakubu listened to the Civil Society Organizations who asked that he shouldn't be in a hurry to declare a Presidential Election winner? Bro, in as much as we'd want to speak well and obviously mean well for the country. Sir, Nigeria is finished! Only God is sustaining us and the little love we still feel for each other. The elections this year really taught us a lot, and not much of those is good. God help us. Thanks

this one is more that something went wrong, what are we going to tell our children, this is international embarrassment, the same way they wrote results in lagos during governorship election & inec accepted it and declared APC candidate the winner with 700, 000 plus when people did not come out to vote, but got 400,000 plus during presidential election when people come out to vote

The unsettling fact is, that but for the outcry, Binani would have been declared winner and perhaps figures altered in her favour.

We are not surprise about inec activities, if we interrogate the process of their top oga's selection, one will realize that they were place their for dirty job. Amechi recently revealed the person that nominated the chairman, if we go down to dig up who nominated the commissioners and REC, one we not be surprised about their activities. The organization has not been sincere since the departure of Jega. In 2019 they claimed they have porter to view result, but when the election was conducted, suddenly, they told the court no porter. In 2023 election they promised heaven and earth that bivas will upload result on irev in real time, he even went to London to make the same promise, but we can all see what happen later. So the organization from top to bottom lacks integrity recently.

Mahood Yakubu has destroyed INEC.
The adamawa REC was only following after his boss.

I'm very optimistic that INEC can do worse than this.
For example, INEC can declare a dead man a winner of election that is in progress in Nigeria and the dead man will be from another country.

Typical of Nigerians commenting nonsense on issues that they have no knowledge of. The measure taken by INEC to void the unilateral declaration by the REC.
It is on record that the governorship election held in Adamawa was declared inconclusive when it was very apparent that Gov Fintiri won the election. The woman sent her supporters to INEC office in Fufore local Govt and snatch the result sheet. After snatching the result sheet she spread propaganda that she has won the election but the propaganda has failed. Then she got the REC to call the Electoral Officer of the LG to change the result telling him that is an order from the highest level. The call was leaked.
The so called inconclusive election was conducted yesterday but everybody knows that the lead of the incumbent governor is insurmountable because he is already leading the woman with a margin of over 31,000 votes while the available votes is just a little over 37,000.
And this morning the useless REC just unilaterally announced the woman as winner of the election even when collation of result was ongoing.
