I am thinking, based on the fact that the tribunal may take a while to conclude their judgement. The swearing-in may be thwarted by upholding the case of perjury against Tinubu. At the end, the proving of the numbers will then be concluded. just my opinion.

How exactly will perjury (assuming there is even one) stop him from being sworn in? Let’s discuss as intellectuals who understand the law without sentiments.

Hope you also know that your fellow Tinubu supporters reported his account for “posting private information” and not for “posting fake news”?

Almost 48hrs later and not a single spokesperson of Tinubu has reacted to either disprove or say anything about that claim.

Fashola even went on Channels and ended up embarrassing himself.

If that passport was fake, it would have been disproved by now. But it was verified as authentic before it was published.

Tinubu committed perjury.

This is not the first time and this won't be the first time he'll get away with it

If there is a judgement (that he actually lied under oath) before may 29th, then the swearing-in will be suspended pending when the higher court gives a final judgement.
But the challenge is that this judgement may not come before may 29th because all the cases are being handled by the same tribunal and the process of proving the number of votes may cause a delay.

Your own section of the law said you can have dual citizenship and lie about it under oath?🤔

Perjury is a criminal case that has to be proved in a court of law. So to start with, a case of perjury will have to be instituted by the police or DSS in the high court. Because it’s a criminal mater, the case will go to trial with all parties presenting evidence and even subpoena may need to be served on Guinea embassy and INEC. At the minimum, the case will take 6 months. So, even if there is a valid case of perjury, it cannot be concluded before May 29. Sadly, the case can’t even continue after May 29 once the president is sworn in because of immunity. So, this is a dead end.

So, we go back to the tribunal case. Unfortunately again, tribunal can only hear election related cases and not criminal cases. They can’t rule on perjury because it’s a criminal matter. The Guinean passport issue was also not pleaded in Peter Obi and Atiku’s cases so they can’t bring it up again. Another dead end. So you see, the dual citizenship issue is all noise and nothing else. It can’t affect the swearing in and it can’t be pleaded again at the tribunal.

Unless you have a valid proof that the form Hudeyen posted is from INEC record office then you or Hudeyen don't even have an idea of what Tinubu filled in his nominations form

Perjury is not in the petition filed by the 2 candidates.

It is all hot air and some of them know it.

They use these things as a coping strategy to occupy and console themselves as the looming Inauguration Day of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fast approaches 🇳🇬😎

Did any of the petitions mention perjury? PDP or LP or any party?

No.
That means with the expiration of the 21days window no party can file any petition. However the DSS can take up the matter, lock him up (damning the consequences) and make a high court judge refuse him bail.

The fact is, having dual citizenship is unconstitutional to be president and perjury is a serious crime for elected officials.
