You guys commenting on the price obviously haven't imported a simple toothpick before. The minimum for the clearing of this car is N1.2m. Shipping in $ plus other logistics can't be less than $2000 that's 1.5m. That's 2.7m. So how much will the car cost? and what could be the excessive profit been made by the dealer? You guys think 3.7m is big until you change it to $ which is the currency for buying and shipping of cars. The exchange rate is between.740- 750 now. Most of you talking , have obviously not imported a corolla of recent .. Well, NL is where people who have no idea of things are free to comment . 1Alex: Everybody here bashing the OP. Why not import the car yourself, then clear it at apapa, repair minor or major issues with the vehicle, pay for car park/stand where you intend to sell it..... let's see if you will come back and spill the nonsense you are saying concerning the price. I am not a dealer, but I am learning the ropes through my uncle who is. I can categorically tell you that it's not all bed of roses for most dealers.
