Here's a brief summary of a past report on the healthcare system of Edo State:

In 2014, the World Bank published a report titled "Nigeria State Health Investment Project: Edo State Project Appraisal Document." The report provided an overview of the healthcare system in Edo State, highlighting challenges and opportunities for improvement.

The report noted that the healthcare system in Edo State faced several challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, low health worker morale, poor access to basic health services, and low utilization of health services by the population. The report also highlighted the need for increased investment in the healthcare system, better management and monitoring of health programs, and improved coordination between different stakeholders.

To address these challenges, the report recommended a number of interventions, including the construction of new health facilities, the deployment of additional health workers, the expansion of primary healthcare services, and the implementation of performance-based financing schemes to incentivize better healthcare delivery.

Overall, the report provided a comprehensive analysis of the healthcare system in Edo State and offered a roadmap for improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in the state.

The question is, did the Edo State government honour the report?
