My NYSC experience. I redrilled the village bole hole donated generator, donated computer equipment and another generator to my school. No government’s reward. My yoruba Corp project inspection and monitoring and the State coordinator came and commissioned them, but insisted that as an igbo man, that I can't be trusted. So, they raised an argument that I started the project before I was given approval. Hence, no reward for me. That's forever memorable.

Very old news. I am guessing as a prospective corper he must have counted himself lucky when allowee was pushed to 33k by FG. Inflation has wiped off any buying power that 33k had.

The days I eat bellyful,the days I sleep on empty stomach the days we slept in the soldiers barrack when there was riot in Katsina after the 2011 election that Jonathan was reelected.To mention few,but we finished serving our country.

You can't skip it but you can pend it.
Get a job and save some money before going for service.
The food in camp can never be good enough, especially if you are used to eating good.
Most of the money budgeted for feeding corp members is diverted.
People in the kitchen in camp make the food situation even worse. They steal the food and hide a lot of the meat.
Mammy market is usually the saviour of corp members in camp.

Lolz, he should be patient, it's a matter of time.

Seems you're somewhere in the north to be complaining of yam daily.

Honestly if you don't have money you'll hate nysc. Money to get yourself a good environment to stay, and buy supplies you need. Also if you're not used to travelling out of your state you grew in you'll find it a bit hard especially if you're posted to where you have no relative you know.

Maybe your family is rich.

I believe if you're not from a rich family use any extra money for self development, or business. Not any silly project. Except youre serving in your state or region.
If an Igbo does project for the north they still won't appreciate you. They can manage to tolerate yoruba.
They don't trust igbo.
