*Sen. Margery Chuba-Okadigbo Extols Nigerian Workers on May Day*

Board Chairman of NNPCL, Sen. Margery Chuba-Okadigbo has extended her warm felicitations to Nigerian Workers from all sectors and walks of life.

In her goodwill message, made available to the press this May Day, she emphasised that International Workers Day is a day set aside to honour and recognize the hard work and dedication of workers all over the world, particularly the Nigerian workers in public and private sector.

"Without the workers," she added, "Nigeria would not be where it is today. So, it is only just and right that we celebrate the efforts and contributions of workers to nation building."

The Anambra APC PCC Coordinator in the just-concluded 2023 general elections also affirmed that May Day reminds us of the contribution of workers to nation building and development, "and it gives us the opportunity to reflect on how government and the private sector can proactively tackle the lingering challenges of Nigerian Workers by giving them better working conditions, better wages and improved benefits."
