Yesterday, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, a socio-cultural organization representing the Igbo people in Nigeria, ratified a new President-General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

The new leader will complete the tenure of Prof George Obiozor, who passed away on December 26, 2022, and assumed office on January 10, 2021.

In his acceptance speech, Iwuanyanwu emphasized the need to prioritize security in the region and called for an urgent peace summit.
