You see Nigerians, they believe in making heaven but the sad reality is that people are not prepared for that heaven every hour of their lives. How? By living your life consciously for Jesus Christ as if it will be your last day on earth. If you love me, keep my commandment,,,,,,my sheep hears my voice and I know them and they follow me.

What do I hear today? Enjoy your life, live life to the fullest bla bla bla because you don't know tomorrow bla bla bla lol. Actually those guys are telling you to enjoy fornication, smoking, take drugs, drink alcohol to stupor, sleep with others wives, do fraud, do rituals and repent later lol. Life doesn't work like this but by principles. You are either in light or darkness.

When you live your life for Him daily, immediately your flesh dies and nothing on this earth shakes you viz the lust of the eyes, the pride of life and the deceitfulness of riches. The first thing you enjoy is peace. When the storm hits the disciples boat in the bible, Jesus was inside resting on a pillow unbothered while his disciples were busy screaming and crying they're perishing.

Christians of this generation lacks the power, faith, spirit & righteousness of God and quickly remember's God when confronted with sudden evil. Don't wait to be kidnapped first before calling on Him. Don't wait to fall sick of incurable illness before calling on Him. Leave your every day as if it is your last and when the evil days struck, you will be smiling and if at all you die, you will gloriously go to Him without fear of making he'll fire on the last trump. Those that have ears to hear, let them hear.

Hmmm....no be small thing oo. I experience this with Green Africa Airline early last year. Wasn't an experience to go through second time. You will check the hight you are and became more terrified. The good thing is that the Pilots always know how to maneuver it.
One should not pray for flight turbulence. Not a child's play at all

What really happened with the weather yesterday? It was exact experience on Abuja-Yola flight that we almost crash landed. And while we were narrating our experience on twitter, people who were on a Sokoto bound plane from Abuja all said they experienced same thing that they thought it was their last day.

There was a mini hurricane in the Abuja area yesterday. No power overnight in most parts. The rains are coming.

I have experienced turbulence like this before on a Qatar airways dreamliner

I was calm because the oxygen masks are not out the pilot is quiet and las las no amount of shouting and panicking will save you if indeed the plane won crash

Turbulence and flying are like 7 and 8. It's expected mostly with International flights and during rainy season. Our local airlines need to prove on their air worthiness.

There are several types of atmospheric phenomena of which turbulence in just one and it happens everywhere in the world and has put down dozens of aircraft all over the ages costing thousands of lives. Not just in Africa.

As a matter of fact we have some of the most benign weather in Africa.

Air turbulence is crazy mehn, even if you are vandamme when it starts like mad, fear go catch you o hahaha!

When it starts you will be like what's happening, then the continuous and rampage gbu gbu gba gba, and the shaking terrible shaking of the plane to the right and to the left, people will be hypertensed already, then suddenly you will just feel the plane stopped and starts dropping down so bad, that's when people will start shouting Jesus saved me oo 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 even the oloshos, kidnappers and the politicians will be confessing their sins 🤣😂🤣😂 OMG!
I think the pilot do that just to get away from the storm clouds 😁😁
Then again it swerve and start and pick balance again, then people that are already going crazy will start to come down, some will have been saying in their mind like "Ah, is this how am going to die" 😁😁

It's a crazy experience my people.

Air turbulence is similar to an inter-state vehicle running into bad road with pot-holes at cruising speed, for a car you can apply brakes but for airplane you can't apply brake but only go through it and pray it does not extend for too long cuz depending on the health of the aircraft, there's how long an over-aged aircraft can withstand aerial "potholes"
Really our aircrafts need to be strictly monitored on their ages and health to withstand such aerial "potholes"

Of a truth, the person who did that video is courageous. The first time i experience air turbulence, i was traumatized and it wasn't easy.

Had the same experience 2 weeks ago from Abuja to Asaba.

There was a thunderstorm over Asaba and the pilot attempted a landing! The turbulence was something else. I just popped my earphones in my ear, switched on Active Noise canceling to block out the screams and prayers, and put my music of full blast!

Aircrafts are designed to withstand turbulence but Nigerians will be screaming and crying instead of staying calm !

We finally landed after two hours and trust them to start clapping and thanking God … Thank you Engineers, Pilots and Technology

But what exactly was the captain doing? He should have communicated with his passengers and given them assurances that they should remain calm and all was well. Once a captain stays calm, the passengers would have some confidence and stay calm too.
