Do you believe the bible? There are questions i want to ask believers. Please let any christian who is ready to answer sincerely indicate himself as i post the questions

1. Why do believers lie? The bible makes it clear that jesus is against all forms of lies and will have ALL liars tormented in eternal fire. If christians really believe what the bible says, why do they find it very easy to lie knowing fully well the depth of such sin and its penalty? Could it be that they somehow believe that the bible itself isn't correct on that point?

Humans generally are imperfect so most times we err and think of the only way out is to cover up by LYING though it's more or less like mental gymnastics stressing one's brains to cook up what isn't true but the God of Israel knew all that that's why He doesn't treat imperfect humans according to our shortcomings {Psalms 103:11-14} God knows it's out of fear that most humans LIES to cover up so He overlook such shortcomings.

The liars Jesus is talking about in that book of Revelation totally differs from those lying out of fear rather they're people who deliberately lie against what is true due to egotism such ones aren't doing it to cover up anything they are evil knowing fully well that such lies may cost the life of another human yet they look away in fact they don't even feel like begging God for forgiveness because to them there is no God, such ones are the people Jesus is talking about they will be cast into everlasting cut off never to be remembered during resurrection! Psalms 9:17

How about the cowards (fearfull) ? According to your bible at revelation their portion is in the lake of fire. Also, your jesus said "you must be perfect like your father in heaven". Going by these, your exuses of imperfection and fear doesn't count. MaxInDHouse

Of course we must become PERFECT before we can live forever that's why Jesus must reign (lead) imperfect humans for 1,000 years to gain PERFECTION.
The thief Jesus granted a Visa only gained access into Jesus' 1,000 years tenure he must learn to become PERFECT before he can gain everlasting life!

When someone does what is stupid you have to let him know that he or she is STUPID that's why Jesus and Paul used abusive speeches! Matthew 23:17; Galatians 3:1

So what did Jesus mean when he said:

"However, I say to you that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother will be accountable to the court of justice; and whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court; whereas whoever says, ‘You despicable fool!’ will be liable to the fiery Ge·henʹna" Matthew 5:22

Here Jesus is talking about a believer who uses abusive speeches for his fellow believer that's strictly following Jesus' orders.
For Instance a believer may choose to remain single all his life {Matthew 19:12} or completely avoid alcoholic drinks {Matthew 5:29} or wants to live all his life completely serving as a minister {Luke 18:22} and so on.
But a fellow believer who knew that such wasn't condemned by our Lord Jesus started calling such a brother a FOOL then the abuse isn't for the person obeying instructions rather it's for the person who taught him to do so.

That's why Jesus said such a person can't escape the judgment of everlasting destruction because he has abandoned the faith for condemning what our Lord Jesus taught!

3. Why do believers engage in sexual sins even when their bible clearly condemns such? Why so many boyfriends and girlfriends among christians? Could it be that they don't believe their bible? Or maybe they think that the bible is somehow wrong on that issue? Could it be that God is not serious?

A father can call his son "FOOL" and it will be justified if such a child is doing what he or she never copied from the dad, but when a father calls his child "FOOL" for doing exactly what he himself is doing then the child isn't the FOOL anymore rather it's the one who lay down the example.

When someone does something out of fear he or she knows what he did is wrong so it means he wouldn't have done that under normal circumstances therefore when someone reminds him or her admittance follows and forgiveness takes place based on the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus.
But in Paradise where there's nothing making us fear {Micah 4:4} we will learn to become perfect like Jesus said we ought to be! Matthew 5:48

Jesus and his early followers didn't seek material riches and didn't instruct his believers to seek riches. So why do christians today think they can amaze wealth in the world and still make it to the kingdom of god. Could it be that they don't believe jesus on this matter?

Jesus wasn't talking to the same set of people on this matter!

Jesus has two sets of sheep:
The BORN AGAIN Christians~ this set are few in number, they will be taken to heaven with Jesus and there they will stay forever with him.
The earthly subjects of God's Kingdom~ the set will gain everlasting life on this planet they will build houses and have the best of life as humans on earth.

The first set are the ones Jesus is referring to here.

Nevertheless any disciple of Jesus should know that even if he is not going to live with Jesus in heaven he must be moderate in the way he accumulate material possessions because when Jesus begin his reign whatever anyone has will be summed up together with other people's possessions and distributed evenly. So if someone is greedily amassing material possessions it may hinder his chances when that time comes to contribute it all and share equally with others who has little or nothing to contribute! Act 5:1-11

"I am the Lord,I have never changed"; "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever". Do believers of the bible really believe that god is unchangeable? But when they do certain things in direct contrast with what their bible says, christians tell you that the bible was written when men did not open their eyes. "it is no longer like that" is what they likely say as an excuse to do what the bible forbids. Could it be that christians think that god has changed in some areas? He can no longer divide the red sea or raise the dead, he doesn't heal instantly anymore,he doesn't answer by fire now a days, he doesn't send manna from heaven anymore, etc. Why and when did he change?

God doesn't change!

He made a covenant with a man called Abraham and promised to be faithful regarding this covenant that's why He did all what was written as a loyal friend for the descendants of His friend Abraham.

The promise He made concerning the earth stands but misinformed religionists are thinking God should continue doing all the things He did for the descendants of His friend Abraham when He made no covenant with your own ancestors!

It was written to inform...and educate..

Why do believers make images and drawings of jesus even when their bible clearly tells them not to make a representation of anything existing in heaven or earth? Interestingly,jesus didn't take pictures of himself or instructed his followers to do so,yet believers go on to make drawings and images of their god in books and stones. To be strict, believers shouldn't have photographs of themselves because its against their god's command. Could it be that they don't believe that their god is serious on this matter?

Why do believers detest poverty even when the bible says that the kingdom of heaven belongs to the poor. Rich men are instructed to sell out their possesions and distribute to the poor. The early christians counted it a privilege to be poor and sold out their material riches. So why do modern christians view poverty as a curse and pray for riches instead? Could it be that they don't believe their bible anymore?

Jesus never said we shouldn't take cases to the court of law. That's why he told his disciples to make sure they settle their disparities among themselves but when the wrongdoer feel he's too big for the church to reprove then we will treat him like any other person which means we should take his case to those who uses force and weapons to handle matters! Matthew 18:15-17
