I saw a post on a celebrity’s page last month. She visited her dad in the village, and they went to the farm together. Most Gen Z’s do not know the importance of Farming or how exciting and thrilling it is to watch something you planted as a seed or root slowly grow into something you eat and sell to earn money. Farming in itself is therapeutic - uprooting weeds, watering plants, etc.

Nigeria, a country whose economy also depends on agricultural produce, should do more to engage the present generation in agriculture so it doesn’t fizzle out. Farming may be hard work, but it's a rewarding way of life.
