Did you see the pics of celebrities dressing up as cats and meowing during interviews, but there's an interesting backstory to all of that. Karl Lagerfeld(which was the theme for this year's MET Gala) had a pet cat named Choupette, and the man loved that cat. It was rumoured that Lagerfeld even added Choupette to his will. This inspired not one, not two, but three celebrities to grace the red carpet dressing up as Lagerfeld's favourite pet.(scroll dow for pic)

Keeping true to her name, Doja Cat appeared on the red carpet with a cat nose prosthetic. She wore a glittering silver Oscar de la Renta dress with a dramatic train. It was a sexy rendition of the famous cat.(Scroll down for pic)

Another celebrity that took on the cat theme was Jared Leto, who showed up in a full cat costume. It felt like a children's cartoon scene as Leto waved and posed.(Scroll down for pic)

As everyone hoped for an invitation to fashion's biggest night, a cockroach had different plans. The critter appeared unexpectedly on the red carpet, creating a viral moment when it crawled around before being tragically squished.(Lol😆 the highlight of the event for me was this)
