People usually think getting your business registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is something only the 'rich' or 'elite' people does.

But in actual fact, it is for everyone regardless of the kind of business you do. Even if you sell garri or tomatoes.

That's because getting your business is registered is one of the requisites of being a recognized business owner. Once your business is registered, it automatically becomes backed by law of Nigeria that you are the sole owner of that business.

So even though your business is very popular amongst your customers and community, but is not registered with CAC, then it is not known or recognized.

Anything that happens to that business negatively, can lead to the sudden demise of the said business and someone else can step up to continue that business, provided it gets registered.
