I've always wondered what the relationship is like between executive MPs and non cabinet MPs in a parliamentary system. For sure there must be elements of pride and 'I don't have time for all of these talk talk" in MPs who are part of the Cabinet Government, and elements of jealousy, "you can't look down on me " from MPs who aren't part of Cabinet EXCO.

For sure, I supported the system to be adopted in Nigeria, thinking having both PM and President will lead to healthier democracy. However, the way the delegate system of parties' primaries was bastardized with bribing has changed my mind and confirms that indirect democracy will eventually be hijacked by the money bags who will bribe and control those who form the electoral college. If they are even trying to bribe millions of voters now, who are those members of electoral college that they can't be overwhelmed with dollars

Lol, the executive comes from the legislature. The prime minister comes from parliament. Even worse fusion of power in their parliamentary system than the presidential system Nigeria practices.
