Npower News Today Thursday June 13th 2024

It is exactly two more days to the deadline given by the Npower National Coordinator for Npower payment to beneficiaries of Npower batch c by the Federal Government of Nigeria and it seems the Presidency is yet to say anything about the payment of Npower batch c outstanding stipends.
Recall that the Npower national coordinator in previous publications has said that once Npower payment is not made by June 15th then Npower batch c beneficiaries will stage a nationwide demonstration.
As the situation unfolds Npower batch c beneficiaries have been advised to exercise patience while they explore other federal government initiatives like the conditional cash transfer programme, the federal government loan and other government initiatives. Weeks ago the federal government rekindled the conditional cash transfer, a component of the National Social Investment Programmes but have left Npower batch c beneficiaries in the dark or rather in suspense. Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed 9 to 12 months stipend, Betta Edu made only one payment when she assumed office but was suspended and investigated for misappropriation of public funds in the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and has since been removed from office and undergoing investigations. Reports have it online that until the investigations conducted by the anti-graft agency is concluded Npower cannot commence neither will Npower payment be made to Npower batch c beneficiaries. Npower batch c beneficiaries and even the house of representatives to expedite the investigation process so that Npower payment will be released but yet again the Presidency has turned deaf ears to this request. A commitee was set up to look into the payment of Npower batch c beneficiaries which was anchored by Mr Wale Edun but it seems as if the matter is just beyond him as nothing has been done by the committee. It seems as though the federal government is more interested in disbursement of loans and grants than Npower payment. In all these Npower batch c beneficiaries have written several letters to prominent figures using these figures as a channel to get to the Presidency but all the feedback received were mere promises with word of mouth and no action.
As the situation progresses, Npower batch c beneficiaries are giving the Federal Government till June 15th to commence Npower payment otherwise a massive protest will commence. The federal government has pushed Npower beneficiaries beyond the wall.

This particular government don't give a Fvck about npower when they're not part of his family. They will arrest all those planning that protest, people on sit now are special kind of EVIL.

They are indeed special kind of evil. It is very very very easy for them to pay the NPower beneficiaries for all the outstanding AT ONCE but I believe there is an evil force they are working with. I mean a diabolic force that feeds on the masses sorrow and wailing. A force that just don't want many citizens to experience comfort. I have not experience any administration in democracy that lacks empathy, compassion and conscience like this administration. 270k will go a long way for 400,000 citizens right now. They know this, but it's that LONG WAY that they're purposely blocking. 😏😏 Useless joy killers ...

Npower News Saturday June 15th 2024

According to Npower News today Saturday June 15th 2024, demonstration looms as the Federal Government of Nigeria turns deaf ears to the plights of beneficiaries of Npower batch c. The federal government few weeks ago lifted the suspension of the Conditional Cash Transfer but has since failed to lift the suspension of Npower. Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed three months, six months, nine months and some beneficiaries even twelve months while some beneficiaries are yet to receive a single Npower payment.
Betta Edu the ex-Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a result of allegations of fraud, but since then beneficiaries of Npower batch c have been left in the dark, no one knows the current status of the investigations between Betta Edu and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in an undisclosed publication someone even said that the ex-Minister has been secretly moved to another department.
Beneficiaries of Npower batch c have said that it seems the federal government of Nigeria has been taken them for granted, and as a result of this a massive protest will commence soon, date yet to be announced. Beneficiaries of Npower batch c have said that they are not interested in the federal government grant but wants their Npower payment to be paid to them because they worked for it. Some Npower batch c beneficiaries a bread winners of their family and depend on this stipends for their upkeep going with the current economic hardship in the country.
The beneficiaries of Npower batch c are given the federal government up until next will to make payment otherwise a massive demonstration will take place at Abuja as well as in other states of the Federation.

According to Npower News today Monday June 17th 2024, Honourable Comrade Mustapha Ali Buni, Npower National Coordinator has written an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on behalf of Npower batch c beneficiaries regarding the delay in their Npower payment, below is the content of the letter and it reads thus:

"The Presidency Asorock Villa Abuja Federal Capital Territory,

His Excellency Honourable Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Dear Sir,

I hope this letter finds you well. Firstly, I would like to extend my warm wishes to you and your family on this special occasion of Eid Mubarak. May this festive season bring you joy, peace, and prosperity.

I am writing to kindly remind you of the promises made to the Npower beneficiaries regarding the settlement of their backlogs payment that has been pending for eight to nine months now. As you are aware, these beneficiaries have been patiently waiting for their rightful dues and it is crucial that they receive the financial support they deserve.

On this Worker's Day, a day dedicated to honoring the hard work and dedication of workers across the nation, it is only fitting that we address the concerns of these beneficiaries who have been tirelessly serving their communities through various empowerment programs.

Your administration has been committed to improving the lives of Nigerians and ensuring their well-being. I sincerely hope that you will prioritize the resolution of this issue and fulfill the promises that were made to the Npower beneficiaries.

I believe that by taking action to settle their backlogs payment, you will not only uplift the spirits of these individuals but also demonstrate your dedication to fulfilling your responsibilities as the leader of our great nation.

Once again, I wish you all the best in your administration and I look forward to seeing positive outcomes for the Npower beneficiaries.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Warm regards,

Hon.Comrade Mustapha Ali Buni, The Political Pillar.
08066690106."

Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed for 9 to 12 months and the Presidency promised to make Npower payment by June 15th but it seems like the Presidency have failed to fulfill that promise thereby putting Npower batch c beneficiaries in the dark, with this letter Npower batch c beneficiaries are optimistic that the Federal Government of Nigeria will promptly look into their blight and commence Npower payment to cushion the effect of economic hardship on these Npower batch c beneficiaries.

Npower News Today Wednesday 26th June 2024

According to Npower News today Wednesday 26th June 2024, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made an important decision to lift the suspension on the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program. This announcement, made during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's one year in office address, depicts the federal government’s ongoing dedication to providing financial support and assistance to poor and vulnerable households through the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme. The NASSPS-SU Stepdown Training Orientation is currently taking place in various states across the federation. This training aims to educate desk officers, enumerators and enrollment officers on the new changes in the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, making sure that the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme meets its set objectives of providing financial support to the poor and vulnerable to cushion the effect of inflation on these individuals.

Despite the resumption of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not provide any update with respect to Npower program. As the moment, Npower remains suspended.

According to Npower News, beneficiaries of Npower batch c should kindly note that Npower payment can still be made despite the fact that Npower is still suspended. These Npower payments are considered debts owed to beneficiaries of Npower batch c, and it is up to the NASIMS to decide when to pay beneficiaries of Npower batch c.

In conclusion the final decision with respect to the continuation of Npower rest solely on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Until President Bola Ahmed Tinubu makes a decision on the lifting of the suspension of Npower, Npower will remain suspended.
